Just read "JK haru is a sex worker" if you want to read about a powerless high school girl getting thrust into another world where the only way to make money for her is sex work where she actually likes her coworkers and her coworkers are nice to her. She actually ends up falling in love while working and it's the first time she truly enjoys sex with a client rather than phoning it in or it just being mediocre. There's also class disparity and sexism so she can't go out during daytime without being scrutiized by passerbys. Also no overpowered mary sue MC she's legit powerless, doesn't have that much money, sexism exists so no social power and she gets roughed up by clients who like it rough. She has to do what she can to take care of the people she cares about her coworkers, other women and clients that are kind to her which is hard to do because she's so powerless and sometimes they save her when she's been good to them. Minor spoilers but at some point a high ranking soldier comes into the brothel and makes her suck his in the middle of the tavern part of the brothel using other lower ranking soliders to block her so he doesn't get forcing her head down and there's nothing her pimp boss can do because he's so high ranking. Then when a client who's never paid for her sex just asked for conversation while paying her every time finally buts in and offers a crap ton of money for sex with her and to get her out of the sticky situation. So she gladly does it with him because of his money and how sweet and cool it was to save her but she's not in love with him just thinks he's a cute admirable guy. Also he's a chubby shy guy who's a chef so not fatphobic as well.
Tldr just read "JK haru is a sex worker in another world" if you want a story that does good representation of sex workers because sex work is still work.

Revenge plot is interesting and I'm invested but ML is really boring and shitty with the sexual harassment and harsh attitude I don't find him charming and am not amused by him also the "kissing the foot tradition" thing was weird for the writer to add and feels like fetish bait. The FL feels like she's both infantilsed and also like she's being set up for girl bossing like she's babied by everyone except when it's about sex. Emotional complexity and nuance is thrown away in this revenge story in exchange for your regular one dimensional villains but they introduce so many of them and all of them have dark hair so it makes it confusing as all hell to tell the difference between the evil sister in law, evil stepmother, evil stepfather, evil mother in law, evil mistress and evil husband plus the plot moves really fast so they aren't established all too well. Plus the "ML giving mindblowing sex to FL" is overdone make him bad at sex or OK at sex and not hyperbolicly good at it because everyone has different tastes and "being good at sex" is about decent communication ( The Private Report on My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness was a manga that handled it really well) and these two have none of that for fucks sake she can't even tell when he's joking and is uncomfortable around him (also they do that thing where they bluntly state that the ML is hot because artist can't draw that plus it's used as an excuse for ML to be shitty) all their interactions feel so awkward and stilted and are so uncomfortable to read that I just wanna speed through them but I know that there's plot stuff there but I just want it to be over already but he keeps coming back.
TLDR: I hate shitty sexually harassment ML who "respects women" and I want a new one (perhaps a himbo) because I can't take it anymore.

I love the translator's notes and "meme"'s inserted at the end of every chapter. I appreciate the info on the translations and the liberties taken to make the story comprehensible. I want the OG Mako to come back from the dead to take transmigration Mako's place and fix this shit. I know this is supposed to be self-insert as Mako but I just hate this guy. I really don't like the priest/nun love interest trope for the sole reason that sexualizing/fetishizing a religious figure, especially one that's taken a vow of celibacy feels icky. Like one of this jobs defining factors is the no romance and no sex part. That's being treated like a bad thing because the writer decided "He gets beaten for not obeying his vows look how evil the church is that means he should be able to have sex because his religion beat him therefore he should throw away his religious values and beliefs for a girl who doesn't beat him" it just feels like such a cop out maybe if he was just a "holy knight I'd be cool with it but he isn't he's a priest and it feels like making something horny that doesn't want to be horny.
