Honestly the only thing different is the fact that the ml have amnesia, other than that is the same as always, the Mc being mistreated, the ml being an asshole, the wierd dicks etc.

Nah. The conflict is far from ending. If I'm not wrong this redemption arc extend for another a 40-50+ chapters. I don't remember how many chapter but it's long and currently were far from the end.
