I was about to rate it 5 cause it was really a great story but the ending felt rushed and sloppy. The uke made a point after seme’s confession in chap 5, it was pertinent and important but the author didn’t go further after that. They just eneded together like that. Too bad !

Omg it was such a great story, it reminded of one of my favorite BL « Dousei Yankee Akamatsu Seven ». Their friendship was great and then came the transition to their love relationship, it was perfect.
I really appreciated their sex scenes, it felt organic and real, they talked about who’s gonna be top or bottom and the prep like a normal gay couple. The seme even proposed to be bottom (although I’m mad cause it didn’t happen. BL authors love doing that shit).
I liked that uke was the one who proposed to stay as it was, because he enjoyed getting penetrated more by Makishima.
Top and bottom is a preference that can only be confirmed after u have had sex. It also depends on the partner... If u have a bad top, u might not enjoy being a bottom. If ur top is good, it can make a hell of a difference. Maybe with another partner, he might have a difference preference.
His presentation on Marina Abramovic was incredible, I genuinely loved the comparison he made between MA’s performance and the bullying he, Mr Bai and Guan Shan faced off.
That's it, Yatamomo is one my fave BL. The story was sooo good, loved all the characters, especially Momo. I have a thing for slutty uke (like Jeoh from Pawn’s Revenge, Betty from Yonin no Nibiiro or Rogi from Jealousy) but Momo was special, he’s such a complex and interesting character.
I might be alone here but I liked Suda too, he was an asshole but idk why I liked him.

The sex scenes were sooooo sexy and well drawn. But I don’t like the fact that Jude kept saying that he was gay. It’s like BL authors think there are only 2 categories : hetero and gay.
Jude likes girls and happened to fall in love with Royce, a man. If anything he’s sexually fluid or at the very least bi but he’s nowhere gay.
Also I was confused cause I read «sleeping man and loving man» 2 months ago and now while I was reading this one I thought it reminds of sleeping man and loving man. Well, someone uploaded the third chapter as a one shot and another one uploaded the complete manga.

Well, I was really reluctant to read this cause I thought it was a shotacon but it was really good, fluffy and cute.

Other than that it was a really good story, sometimes they were very frustrating and annoying but also cute and fluffy. Both characters were flawed and their relationship wasn’t perfect but that’s what made the story realistic.
The pacing was all over the place, the Stockholm syndrome wasn’t handle well. Everything felt shallow and plain. I didn’t feel their love at all.
Well, I didn’t like it ...
At this point, the author is just doing this for shit and giggles. Their other story « The Library » was a hot mess but this one take the cake
