What I like the most about this author is that you can’t put a uke tag or seme tag on her characters. In this story both MCs act like uke and also seme at the same type. And you can’t determine their role through their looks either cause they both have the same « normal » looks.
I like her realistic approach of gay couples. No stereotypic feminine looking uke and masculine looking seme. Just normal boys/men loving each other without BL roles. Plus in her stories she usually make them ask who’s the top and who’s bottom, because in reality YOU HAVE TO ASK FIRST, it’s not instinctive nor obvious.

It’ll make no sense if he stays with TS at the end.

Agree to disagree but I’ve been reading my fair share of BL with abusive seme and trust me Tae-Seung is the worst along with the seme from Palace of Bardo. SH comes close with those 2. He’s a rapist for sure, who doesn’t know how to express his affection but except that one time when he slapped NK after NK punched him first, he never laid his hand on him nor let someone touch NK without consequences.

I agree with you. At least Seungho was always full of conflicted emotions and expressed remorse about the shit he put Nakyum through, but Tae Seung has no conscience, he's been trying to break Soo young in different ways since he met him.
Besides, Seungho never tried to hide the type of person he really was. TS does all kinds of bad shit to SY behind his back but in front of him he pretends to be his savior.
TS is way worse than SH.

The art style was great, but the cases weren’t that interesting and the chemistry between Rika and Waki was off. Felt like Rika loved Waki more than Waki loved him. He had more chemistry with Hoshihiko to be honest.

I started this story like 8 months ago, I dropped it 2 times before picking up again today, and now I (finally) read the whole thing in one day. Whew, it was a roller coaster of emotions, the 20 first chapters where so frustrating and enraging, that’s why I dropped it before. But man … the characters dvp was perfect, how their traumas were shown too.
Although the end felt a little stingy, like after 62 episodes of suffering, angst and misunderstanding we didn’t even get to see them in a relationship, nor happy together as an official couple, the mother didn’t get her karma. It’d have been perfect if we had a 2/3 chaps of side story of their college day living together tho.
