I love this couple so much ! Their relationship at first was toxic and full of red flags but they’ve grown, they evolved, matured and now they became such a stable and healthy couple / individuals

I love Noah, she’s a real one. She’s flawed, she can have a mean spirit sometimes but she’s very supportive of Tsubaki and always been. She was talking loud on purpose for the whole class to know not to bully Tsubaki.
Also I love how realistic this manga is !
Tsubaki and Mamoru are super awkward with each other, they don’t know what to talk about, they don’t know how to act around each other and guess what … that’s what happen with most couple.
I wanted Lil (the dark skinned guy) to top. Atp it such cliché to make the rowdy / delinquent one the bottom. Plus blonde guy said it himself, he can’t get hard because of the stabilizer, so why would he top then ?! In any case, switch couple are better !

I’m not talking about their physical appearance but their personality. The past 5/6 years there has been a shift in the BL industry and now all the mangaka make their tsundere / rowdy / delinquent character the bottom.
i thought that has always been a thing? ive usually only seen tsunderes be on the bottom, and either way what really makes a characters personality a “bottom” ?? ive only ever seen it appearance wise
Welp, it’s like most stories with dead lover. Author put so much care developing the dead character and put more emphasis on their past relationship that you end up rooting for the dead one. At some point the love story with the current lover is lackluster and underwhelming and the current lover feels like a third party, like he is bothering the real couple.
I was rooting for Ryu, he is the type of person you can’t help but being drawn to him because of his bright personality. Their love was mutual and deep + childhood friends. Come one, this is the best combo !
Great manga nonetheless but I couldn’t enjoy it as much.
Btw I almost teared up seeing Tokitaro happy and fulfilled in the panel when he says to Miyo that despite all the things he’s going through he enjoys going to school. I love this little snake so much, he’s too precious. I think, he has better chance with adults (like the priest, Ankei and maybe the villagers) rather than the kids. He’s smarter and more mature than the other kids anyway.
