I feel very sad in this kind of discriminatory world where even if the main character achieve happiness, I know the world is still bad so it makes me upset.

Usually a very short inserted sad backstory doesn’t make me feel emotional (there has to be a longer build up) but the scene where he’s all beaten up and he sees his half sister so preciously taken care of and his mom chooses to ignore him is so saddd
I feel like because his mom abandoned him he also abandoned himself. he’s selfish and not very good but not that bad either, he’s not without empathy so I hope he can improve himself and find his own happiness
It’s depressing to know that this type of people tend to have a rough childhood and grow up in a dysfunctional family. as a result of their trauma, some either turn out to be fine, or have the most obnoxious personality, even worse they might turn to drug, crime, and prostitution

Something I really like about this manhua is how the MC and ml both have other people in their lives. It used to bother me because I’m always confused by the plot and I don’t know who anyone is ever but now that we’re this far in I can tell whose background and whose main cast. yoohan has hansoo and their manager and jay has the weird relative hotel guy (wtf does he even do lol). It’s a very small amount of people but they grew on my and I’m genuinely attached to them. I also like the other silly characters like the weird photographer and this new martial arts? Manager.
