I don’t like the fact that the duke is actually acting like a father, like he should have done it when she actually needed it but right now her attitude and personality is totally different and she gave up in getting their attention.
But I really appreciate her sister unlike other stories she is completely kind and caring to her sister(mc) and she (mc’s sister) doesn’t let a man ruin their relationship. I guess blood is thicker than water.

ur wrong her sister apparently turns out to be a brat and is just trying to get her family to hate her by keep getting into trouble so she can get blamed for everything. Thats according to spoilers I read a while back so I can't 100% confirm if it's true or not but I sorta get the vibe of her sister being a fake ass bitch. I'm not sure you can say that if you've never had children. There have been many cases of fathers or mothers being jealous of the attention their child gets. I'm not saying Ella is not at fault of course,just correcting your statement of 'no one would be jealous of their own child.'
Thank you for correcting me about this but I think the some of the mothers or fathers who experience jealousy towards their child doesn’t come to the conclusion to neglect their child. I am disappointed with ella because the jealousy is one thing and not that big of a deal but the neglection is a whole new level. (●'◡'●)ﾉ
Of course different parents deal with this jealousy differently, some would abuse their child, neglect them or even abandon them. I don't support her neglecting the poor children but atleast it's better then abusing them.
