Personally I don't think these deceased husband and the uke are that similar, they have the same scent which attracted the top but their personality and looks are totally different. Was the execution of the story good? Not rlly it was a sweet plot which had a lot of potential. In the end its two older men who shared an emotional moment which lead to their relationship. They've been together for 3 years. I doubt the top is only with him for his scent at that point he can't even smell pheromones remember

Like I hear stories of ppl who do these horrible crimes and they always grow up with abusive families and I can't help but wonder if they ever felt guilty for being the cause behind monsters.
