But in cakeverse, it's kinda unhinged 'cause the vibe the author goes for is fluffy romance and then, you get smacked by dialogues of mcs wanting to get cannibalized or the love interest in a craze to eat their flesh like??? HUH?

I love how the game aspect of it is easy to understand and most parts of the story does not simply revolve around smut and all. It's like I'm really reading a BL fantasy novel. Though I must say, I don't really feel the chemistry between the two mcs for some reason, but the story remains enjoyable.
