Like yeah sure, in this TL he didn't abuse , dehumanize, and rape the mc, but knowing that he was capable of doing that before makes me approach this story with cautiousness and scrutinize the love interest's actions a little closer because the things he's done in the past wasn't exactly something one can shrug off as tiny mistake. I think that's just a normal reaction to have as a human being yk? Especially when there are times when he treats the mc with possessiveness like he is something he owns, not loves.
