not to be like. a hardass who doesn't enjoy fun, but while i love this story and i on god LOVE religious symbolism, i'm so sick of seeing sexy nuns LOL (and before ppl come for me saying it's mary who's the gross one, yes she's disgusting, but she's clearly written by a DUDE like ain't no way that's a woman's design beneath all that. i'm also pretty sure jeongjontaek is a guy, from what i can find). like sexualizing religious women, esp christian ones, is so normalized bc ppl think it's just "fiction" or "halloween costumes" but they affect ppl in real life.

like i remember seeing this one video of this young nun who was given this finger skateboard by this teenage dude and she started flicking with it and it was lit and shit and then all the comments were dumb ass motherfuckers who kept talking about how she's a pure virgin and one of the few good women still out in this world and how horny she got them like HUH. men love to say they won't respect women and will outright sexualize them if they post revealing outfits or "look" a certain way, but women can straight up live in a NUNNERY while wearing heavy religious clothing and still be slobbered over like . like we do not need more of this ngl. half of the comments were gifs of other anime women wearing nun clothings bc this has been essentially normalized through sexy halloween costumes. like if you were to sexualize other cultural costumes it'd be wrong, and while i don't really give a rat's ass about defending christian denominations, i do think it's harmful to allow media to normalize sexualizing women-related positions in the workforce/culture.

like i think there's a way to make sick religious symbolism without going down the sexualization route that only adds to the modern disrespect towards women esp in religious and sexual regard. like the pastor in all this, the boss with the finger tats and the grill is actually so gas like i LOVE how he looks. like give mother mary some signature knuckle dusters and gemstone teeth, like why do you have to make her a pedo LOL. like i get pedophilia is often seen in most churches but i just know that's not what the author is trying to portray here with how he writes mary LMAO.

i get the husband is a cheater but omg ur literal wife who you supposedly love and gotten her to be super vulnerable towards you is crying about her mom and her abandonment issues and you're just gonna IGNORE her in front of someone else completely sober??? honestly i needed this chapter. felt like with the main cast and secondary characters, were too little cognitive development. like we barely ever had screentime of any of the other characters, so it's great to see insight into glasses and bob girl the most. like i am the most curious about yuri's thoughts- she's def using mungju and gives 0 shits about him or anyone else in her way, but we know so little about her (like not even her background, but her character and way of thinking itself), that it's actually great to see a thought bubble (like i think this is the FIRST thought bubble we get from her). and i'm SO happy to see taerin question the ML, bc i can NOT stand to see too much oblivious one-sided affection between them, esp with taerin, who is meant to be a smart and insightful character. and finally blondie gets a goddamn grasp about her situation against taerin, though idk if she's going to see this as a "i can't win against taerin because i keep competing against her and limiting myself to a shallow comparison i have against someone i'm jealous of" or a "i can't compete against her therefore i should give up and resign myself to this standard that my own insecurities created"

also i LOVE nuri. i think most of my comments i've ever posted under this story is about him tbh. like he is my FAVORITE and YES nuri screentime im crying i love him so much
