i LOVE it when artists are cinematic. they speak more with their artistic choices versus the plot (fujimoto and his work w csm kinda reminds me of this, too), and i think it speaks so well when we follow this type of MC. like when in ch12 the backdrop suddenly becomes all TV static, and we just see nothing but MC's flat stare and the words of his coworker, like holy shit i could FEEL that. like when you're SO done and angry and you can't even do anything about it, and all you can hear is the ringing in your ears with the only clear audio and visual being the fucking words coming out of someone's mouth, like i could HEAR that white noise.
bald on bald crime, tbh. also love the moment the manhwa described kim naho's dad, i instantly KNEW that he was the falsified narrative that cops use to justify their interrogation techniques, especially if they were a korean cop from an older generation.
weirdly enough, for an abrupt ending that sucks ass, it's still somehow as satisfying as it could've been for smth that got cut. cuz like, they both got the endings that they deserve: the damn pushover of an MC at least gets to watch their roles get flipped where ML is the one who feels embarrassed while MC does NOT gaf, and ML doesn't even get to feel satisfied in messing w MC cuz he confessed to everything LMAOO. like, at least MC didn't get forced into a rushed relationship the way this seemed to be going.
blondie is such a loser, wtf. like who thinks like that
tbh, the way he repeats that hollow mountain is dead with the name in quotes, lowkey is making me think they did a cop out and bi gwang just broke the Hollow Mountain mask, and killed his persona but let the dude live. which, imo, is actually preferable, bc im all for the “friendship is magic” trope, tbh
ML suddenly became a lot less annoying and it’s bc he’s so stupid, it actually caught me off guard
can someone spoil to me what happens to the rest of idris' knights and what was up with the prince's and idris' hinted childhood friendship? bc i cannot read anymore of this (i stopped at the end of s1). mostly bc i'm reading the comments and apparently the ending doesn't feel satisfactory. while i can totally get that in real life, after so much abuse and seemingly never-ending tyranny, it's probably believable that the victims are just happy and relieved that the prince is dead and gone, regardless of whether or not he actually got dished any karmic justice for all that he's done against them. like revenge isnt even a priority anymore underneath longterm conditions of severe abuse- you just want nothing to do with them atp. but i personally cannot read that type of ending after reading that entire first season of just plain (and pretty explicit) abuse and humiliation against not only idris, but the rest of the order. like i just wanted to know what's up with the prince and idris' old friendship, and how the rest of the knights turned out (rip ivor, tho)

it's not even the MC, it's the fact that quite literally i've only finished five chapters so far, and nobody here should be allowed into normal society. like it's not even any of the reoccuring characters who got to me- it was the random ass bully from ch 5 who threw that bottle with the "I DON'T KNOW" response like WHAT-
this is so damn chinese. like it has the straight-man essence of every, action-based chinese manhwa (excluding anything based off of butterfly blue's novels)

holy fuck this is WAY too good. i'm only on ch16 and it's crazy how well-paced such an action-packed story is. like for just a section fo 16 chapters, the insane amount of plot-movement, character introductions, and lore drops that were done in a natural manner where I didn't even realize how much I was intaking until i reflected rn, is crazy.
tbh. MC’s short hair from when she was young and her general design are so cute. too bad she’s such a creep
i PRAY that jurji and alexei's relationship doesn't have a tragic end, but it feels like it will bc of their circumstances and what type of genre this is. i don't even want to see them together, but i'm way more interested in their friendship and complicated history vs the main relationship's outcome rn. similarly, i wanna see what happens to alexei and t mac and other criminals.
lowkey, ML is a trashcan to alexie's pretty insane choices so i totally feel neutral about him as a character despite my overwhelming love for alexei (and by proxy, jurji). bc while i can sympathize with alexei's decisions that he quite literally played the best cards with the shitty hand he was dealt with, he basically never gave ML any autonomy, insight, or trust despite his obsessive interference. he's lowkey an abuser in that sense, regardless of the circumstances that driven him to do all those things. that fucks up a kid, esp if alexei was the only person that the ML was close to or knew the world through. but that's why i LOVE jurji- he quite literally knows alexei and his circumstances well enough for any relationship between them to feel sincere and not anxiety-inducing, and knows how fucked up alexei is (bc like,,, wtf is this dude doing, you know) but still cares for him and is willing to show it.
i hope jurji's character doesnt get twisted for the sake of the ML, or that he and alexei's relationship falls apart. but knowing how these stories go, jurji is basically collateral to the plot and to the main relationship.
i feel like this is the only school-fighting manhwa with minors where i truly believe there are actual stakes involved. also the only MC within that genre who i can truly think is both a good guy, as well as someone who probably can twist his morals for some fucked up, personal desires of wrecking havoc under the pretense of "justice."
whatever hppened to this? i remember binge reading this and while MC wasnt nything special, it was still a good way to pass time
