I think the possible idea as to why the OG wants his body back is mainly due to denial and also like you said, jealousy. Of course it would be easier to reincarnate, but I’m guessing OG feels a sort of attachment to his body and denies the fact that suddenly our MC can do what OG can’t. It’s shown that OG is very stuck up, stubborn, and also selfish in a way.
And adding on to a somewhat toxic family environment and struggling relationship he had with his teammates due to his personality just made it all the worse. So when he sees that MC is flawlessly getting through, especially as being HIM, it’s a huge blow to his ego/character and personal self. It’s like a loss of worth to him, and all he sees is the massive L rather than how to change.
And the manager is supposedly siding with THEM?? They can’t even do their own job and on top of that think fame is all that matters. Lol look at the state of their group.
Anyways, aside from me sounding like the NPC comments in the actual manhwa LMFAO, everyone needs to get it together in floss and someone’s gotta step up to initiate control to lead everyone…
I do feel bad since the stress must be getting to all their heads right now. But the main person I’ll blame in this is the manager since they are supposed to be the person to do crowd control especially on the internet like that, but it’s blowing up and getting worse by the second and the first thing they want to do is rant and LOOK at the post while not doing anything…
I say Floss leader and blonde should go join MC's label they don't need this toxic company. Why is Floss group leader being blamed by that general head manager when it's their fucking job to handle this? How could a member know their member's confidential contracts like bro!!! I wanted to isekai there and punch both those managers!! One was siding with other groups and even threatening MC to apologize to them another is blaming a group leader cuz they were too lazy to investigate their own talents
This idol webtoon is pure stress atm
To me, the flashback shows that the FL and mincheol weren’t the best couple, and that they were more so just really in love. (At that moment). And I’m not trying to be an asshole when I say this, but not only did he recklessly move in without consulting with FL (and I get it was meant to be a surprise) but that’s a huge decision, and on top of that, she had to learn it from another guy is wildddd.
Aside from the fact that Mincheol is clearly one sided on his perspective of their lifestyle. It also comes to show he lacks adaptability and also doesn’t seem to know how a relationship operates. It just seemed like this was a couple bound to fail from the start.

I like how you can get manipulated by this scene if you cut out the fact he hurt her and traumatized her
Yep. Did he not feed her pet bird to a turtle in front of her to inflict as much pain as possible? The whip marks? Its very romanticised but in between all this he beat tf outta her
So uhm.... I have trouble remembering, did he start hurting after her first marriage or before it???
'Coz that kinda changes thr context a bit
What context changes?
He sabotaged her first wedding to get her to go back to him. He just plain old sucks.
Yep, he's still a bitch & a jerk, that won't change because in love, violence is not the answer (most of d time, anyway)
BUT! the timing of the start of the abuse changes things a bit
If it happend before, that means their father completely broke him before he even started fixating on MC -> he's been delusional from the get go
If it happened after, that indicates that what broke him, ultimately, is the "apparent betrayal" (from his pov) of the one thing that brought light to his life + it happening right after enduring severe beating -> his abuse wasn't entirely out of delusion, but was out of intense despair & anger for being so willfully thrown away despite her promise
(Again, from his pov, which is useful to understand when trying to know where his action comes from)
It doesn't change who he is nor does it redeem him.
But it adds depth to his character, as well as gives us an explanation for why things became what they are -> & isn't that part of what makes a story fun?
He's been abusing her way before the first marriage. The main reason why in his pov it looks like Ruby betrayed her is most likely her acting in order to evade punishment much like she's done before.
Ohhh..... damn. Then he's been broken from the start
