It's been a while since I read this, but here's what I remember. He talks conscendingly to her sometimes, he purposely stepped on her injured foot hard one time, he also left her alone in some sketchy night club where she could've gotten raped. Also he's just a fucking asshole with an attractive face. If it wasn't for that and his skills, he'd be a nobody.
I think one of the worst things about him is that he lacks empathy. In the latest chapter, he doesn't understand why Adele is putting a wall against him and has to ask her why she despises him WHEN HE WAS THE ONE WHO DID ALL THOSE HURTFUL SHIT TO HER. LIKE MAN, IS IT NOT OBVIOUS THAT LITERALLY ANYONE WOULD HATE YOUR GUTS OR PLAN YOUR MURDER AFTER DOING ALL THAT CRAP??? WHY IS HE SO STUPID
real, and I think he knows why she hates him but he wants her to say it- to argue with him so he can justify his shitty actions and maybe even manipulate her. he knows he’s charming and can get what he wants with a few words, so the fact that he can’t make her emotional and then take the position of the ‘rational’ one with false logic and answers that seemingly oppose her emotions - is messing with him

Of course I think you shouldn’t joke like that lol, but I’m glad he knew right after he messed up on it and immediately felt the need to comfort or give her space due to that. It means he’s receptive and respects her emotions and knows her to a degree.

I personally sympathize with FL, but I’d NEVER go as far as to go after an asshole like that. As much as I’d be so damn fucking pissed off too, going in recklessly head first just to try to get attention isn’t the best way to go about it, nor is trying to search for someone you have NO IDEA how they look. ESPECIALLY on top of the fact they not only blinded you for TWO YEARS but also made FL’s doctor write that she’s SCHIZOPHRENIC. But I don’t blame FL, if the plot armor wins, fuck him up!

On top of his shitty actions, he also practically put FL into a Stockholm Syndrome like situation since there were several frames where FL talks about how she felt deeply moved by his actions and loved him deeply. And this happened around the same time she got blind, which, mind you, was also caused by him. Meaning that the marriage and everything along with it IS fake. But since FL was genuinely happy after having been mentally exhausted while she was blind, she felt like he was her light.
IKR, right??? Like that’s so messed up. My pride is so high that i wont be begging and finding him just to make him stay like excuse me??? I will do everything to make him pay like literally kill him and not fall in love again with him. I know she’s obsessed but pls be obsessed of killing him not begging him to stay. OMG LIKE GURL??? R u out of your mind? Finding a husband who doesn’t want to be found? Nah i will be forever single lady with a cat and a knife holding forever, whenver seeing someone or a guy i will run after them.
