This has happened to multiple of the ones I have truly enjoyed, it’s so sad to hear that this was discontinued. I don’t even know how a remake will be made since so many chapters have already been released, but I hope that if ever, this comes back
When they said that it was different than the novel, heck it really was. But hey, I’m not too sad about this. I think even when rushed they still kinda made it work out. I’ve always had a soft spot for Yato since he was there from the beginning, so I’m happy with their endgame.
Aside from that, i’m not very surprised about how they overworked the artists apart of this. Many studios are rather strict, and push deadlines, and with this level of art, I’m not surprised. It’s disappointing that I’ve already heard several occurrences of this happening and I cannot fathom the mental strain that they are in. I hope that those artist get a chance to recover from their time away from such toxic workplaces and do what they enjoy.

was the prince the endgame in the novel?
Technically, the imagery of the last chapters were very accurate to what happened in the novel and Soru did still end up with Yato. The only thing is that there was context still left when she shifted her feelings towards Yato. I'd definitely say there was stretched out angst in the novel.
That explains why many of the readers are all about Soru only being with Yato for pity.
ah I'm so glad he's the endgame originally! I feel like they left out Soru and Yato moments so those extras, stretched out as they might be, could be what this version lacks
It was considered unpopular and wasn’t receiving enough attention, and people felt disinterested about the pacing. This was an announcement made by Kakao, I believe. It stopped back in 2021 sadly. I haven’t seen this artist draw any other manhwas since then Other than promos

Hi guys so before I told y’all that the artist for this was originally called “FORMER” on their twitter, however, I’ve rechecked and now that portion of their title is gone! I believe they are still going to be working on this again! Hooray!
Note that the artist had not made any announcements about this on their twitter ever since the end of s2 I believe, but I could be wrong! But the biggest thing for me is that they no longer are called the former artist anymore and have switched back to having just the word “artist” for this manhwa! So that’s a win!
