In the novel it showed their disorientation and how much it was to feel at a loss of Kim Dokja, here though, they made it pass on quickly. I get that they need to move to the next scenario, but they left out many things that could’ve added more depth to this.
I still love this webtoon version though! <3
They still have some space to do that because I remember the interviews with the group didn't happen until after they escaped the Seoul dome, and certain scenes (like the maritime admiral giving the kids some money because he was upset seeing them sad during their coin flip game) also happened after. I hope they include that 2nd scene at least, it was really touching and I liked that it included Jihye as well
I really hope so! They took out some quotes that really added to the character development of YJH! So I was so sad when they didn’t have it Xc
Yeah, it kinda sucked （￣へ￣）I feel like this is where you see YJH do a big turn towards being more willing to push on and care more instead of wanting to regress once it gets difficult. Them skipping out on this kinda makes the comradery between YJH and KDJ look weak still sadly
I’m really satisfied with this one. No plot holes, and a true open ending. Though I am a bit sad the FL didn’t become a vampire since I’d wish they live together in the long run. I still get where she’s coming from.
Basically after Izek’s little talk with the knight, someone knocks on the door. He smiles to himself as he makes his way to the door, only to find that it was Freya. Her “fragile” form in front of the frame while Izek shows disinterest since he wanted it to be Ruby.
Freya speaks up about how Cardinal and Ruby kissed and starts spouting about how Ruby’s been playing him all along. Izek doesn’t believe her and pushes her aside while he has to get ready for the fight. It ends with him looking angry, perhaps conflicted after what he’s heard.
Several panels were cut out of chp 99. So I summarized the rest of it for any one who was too lazy, (like me) lol
I feel like they were on to something at the beginning and due to the hype it was getting, it needed to be published sooner than later. Of course, I don’t know how publishing wise things go, but the story feels rushed in a manner, and had potential

In several comments I saw the issue being brought up about how beauty standards can get caught into the narrative of manhwas, especially when “said-chubby (in some cases)” changes to “beautiful slim lady”. I’ve seen a manhwa demonstrate this before and it is nothing like this one of the sorts at all, and had actually been slightly rude on the topic, so I dropped it.
If this had truly been fataphobic then FL would have instantly asked to use a wish to become “slim” and in no way has the FL shown discomfort or disrespect to the original body. FL has also shown to empathize with og and shows that she’ll work hard to live up to what she truly wanted. And that was to be happy. That was the central theme.
Heesung and Dan looked good in my opinion.
