In several comments I saw the issue being brought up about how beauty standards can get caught into the narrative of manhwas, especially when “said-chubby (in some cases)” changes to “beautiful slim lady”. I’ve seen a manhwa demonstrate this before and it is nothing like this one of the sorts at all, and had actually been slightly rude on the topic, so I dropped it.
If this had truly been fataphobic then FL would have instantly asked to use a wish to become “slim” and in no way has the FL shown discomfort or disrespect to the original body. FL has also shown to empathize with og and shows that she’ll work hard to live up to what she truly wanted. And that was to be happy. That was the central theme.

It’s because Yaoi censorship in China. I feel bad for the artists because they actually DO draw out those scenes, but usually when they have to get it posted on a website or smth, the publishers do a crap job and either cut the scenes out or do what y’all see here, use a random brush and voila lol
