So maybe Kihoon loosing everything is because when Yeon changed fate he made it so Kihoon couldn't like anything and anyone besides Yeon. (Explains why he felt so good).

My point was that Kihoon's suffering is maybe not due to punishment but destiny working the way it was forced to by Yeon. Yeon not remembering does not play into it. I can only see it matter in the future once he remembers he will feel guilty and maybe even not trust the love that Kihoon has for him.
