this ending makes me so mad. they forgave eren? the solution is to wipe out 80% of the population? ymir based her entire course of action on mikasa's choices? what the hell????? the sentimental martyr complex/self-obsessed melodrama that I find so often/hate in japanese speculative stories. i feel like isayama was just tired of writing this series so he packed everything into a few end chapters and cut out some stuff that would've made the story morally palatable?
and finally WHY DID HE GIVE ARMIN AN UNDERCUT????/ I REFUSE TO SEE THIS!!! annie deserves better than his undercut.

Doesn't anyone else feel really iffy about how protag just let the maid and her baby get killed in front of her eyes and didn't seem too upset about it afterwards? I mean if you're going to be OP why not... be OP?

Even if she wanted to she couldn't she has no right to punish or say anything about it. The maid wasn't in her care she was under the princess and had to cover up her mistake by telling that one dude to kill her and also she still has to be one step ahead of certain situations and learn to move forward even if its fucked up :o

It's before she went to the front with her troops. Her ex-fiance was petitioning the king and dragged her to the kings hall. But he was called out for having an affair with the princess's maid and got her pregnant. To cove it up he killed her saying "if you love me, die for me." But it got him nowhere and he lost his child and his love with no gain.
In all fairness our FL was alone, in a hostile environment and could not do anything even if she wanted. Don't misplace your anger. It was the shitty Princess and scuba of an ex-fiance. Besides it was also the maid who chose her loyalties with them too. I'm shocked and upset they did that but not mad at the FL.

dropped because i'm personally tired of fragility being held as a feminine ideal even if it's understandable for this particular story/ccontext

There’s nothing wrong with fragility being a feminine ideal because there’s nothing wrong with fragility in general. She’s trying her best despite being scared and abused all her life of course it’s a slow process not every female lead has to be as outgoing as the villainess we’re used to or physically strong fighters.

I get where you're coming from, but I don't think this webnovel in particular describes her fragility as something feminine or desirable. She herself despises her fragility and it's shown that other characters look down on her for it (like her father, the knights) and she is constantly trying to improve herself and become stronger. In contrast, the female characters that are supposed to be desirable like her sister and the princess are both described as strong characters. The princess is described as the most desirable lady in the empire and she's powerful enough to go on the dragon expedition.

I think it’s because you see fragility as a bad thing while it’s not. There’s nothing wrong with being fragile it doesn’t mean you can’t be strong as well it’s not something negative. Male leads can be fragile in some ways especially those with tragic back stories but they don’t get the same hate as female leads who are. Not everyone needs to be emotionally or physically strong girls are allowed to be fragile and feminine and so are others

Oh I wasn't referring to this story in particular I mean in general there are way too many romance webnovels that /emphasize/ fragility as something /desirable/. Fragility isn't a turnoff for me or anything, but when physical weakness is considered a /turn-on/ then I get annoyed. In part because of the historical context that buff girls are considered ugly and that to be beautiful women had to look frail and delicate and something men wanted to protect. There's still lots of stigma about girls having muscles or thick thighs.

I know that there’s still a stigma as I’m a girl with thick thighs and not the “most desirable” body type but it still doesn’t sit right with me to hate on or blame smaller more “fragile” girls it’s not their fault at all and in a way it’s shaming them. Yes authors do use that trope a lot and I understand why that would turn you off but I try not to be bothered by it because it really is a reflection of real life the ML mentioned how he prefers girls like our FL and that’s just his preference for what best fits his personality and we shouldn’t hate that I’m sure you have types of people you perfer over others to when it comes to this subject. But I understand where you’re coming from

There are A Lot of Unnecessary Rape Scenes in this so... I dropped this manhua, dear readers, and good riddance.

That was legal rape - unwanted insertion of any object into victim's genitals.
I was also referring to another scene many chapters later, when the cousin orders her men to rape mc's servants - more unnecessary rape scenes. I don't expect much from manhuas lbr but just stating the reason why I dropped it bc I honestly would like to find a good, long manhua.
I love this memey masterpiece.
