It’s one of the very few, if not the only, wholesome yaoi I’ve liked. The way their love for each other is so pure and absolute has had me hooked for years. I want to think that Shin will stand his ground and not go to Shige’s agency, but I know that he IS willing to do whatever for Shige. But then if he goes, all the sacrifices Shige has made for years will be for naught. So, I’m not sure how Sachimo will unfold this drama. They have a tendency to write happy ending though. So I’m not too worried. But still looking forward to volume 11. I can’t believe it’s been ten volumes already!

The characters are really attractive but I don’t want to get attached or a story and wait five years for a simple full screen kiss.
This story was so promising in the beginning. I’m a fan of slow burns but not like this. The slow burn is enjoyable when they both long for each other but for whatever reason can’t be together just yet. But this type of slow burn is inefficient and unsatisfying. Because it’s hard to believe that in this day and age (this story is set in a modern period) two adult men lack so much emotional depth. You mean to tell me two grown men don’t know if they like the other or not? I’m assuming is due to Koreans lack of communication skills. But this is beyond that. Plus, SPOILER. This story dragged soooo much and just in the last four chapters Jewon confesses and they fuck and start dating. The conclusion to the story, after so much dragging and inability to identify their own feelings, was too abrupt to the point of being boring.
I still come back out of habit to proofread my own translations, but I give it a 4/10.

Season two will only have 20 chapters so something tells me we already crossed the hardest part of the misunderstanding. Season two will probably start with Nanjo’s pov and then they’ll settle things with Sunhwa and start being lovey dovey right after.

The story and the characters personalities and development is clear. If you think this is a drastic change or that Cha is a victim, you didn’t understand anything and truly need to read the story again.
This is why authors are reluctant to hear opinions from foreigners and global fanbase, because you all don’t understand the stories. You all let your own traumas and morals project into a work of fiction and don’t understand the stories. And some of you are even shameless enough to say this to the authors’ social media accounts.
