They painted this story as a terrible gangrape towards the bottom and it’s so much more than that? It’s not even that terrible.
I can list all the reason and thought but I already had this conversation with friends. So, it’s actually a pretty entertaining read!
I have mixed feelings about this author. I love their drawing style. However, they have an obsession with making overly slutty bottoms. And I have no issue with characters being comfortable in their sexuality. But this author writes bottoms that have no loyalty towards anything but their sex drive. Often times, the bottoms have a hard time staying with one person and exploit their sex drive with just one partner, instead she makes them have sex with everyone and their cousin.
And okay, let’s say they’re overly slutty, why do we need to see/read the details of every sex scene with every mob character?
This author tries so hard to make the story have any plot but at the end of the day it’s just hard porn. There’s no depth to the characters no matter how hard she tries. I still read their stories because the sex (between the “main” top and the bottom) is good. But I wish this author went for a bit more of variety with her bottoms. Her last story was just like this one. And the bottom even looks the same. The changes are minimal.
I will see this through. But I’m disappointed nonetheless
Thank god I read the novel. I feel like the manwha is romanticizing a lot more their relationship. Don’t get me wrong. I love this story. The tragedy that holds and every character being more flawed than the one before. But the manwha is hurrying events and softening their personalities A LOT. In the novel there’s still a long way to go until Klopp accepts that he’s in love with Aeroc. Klopp is supposed to be furious here because he failed to propose. But he looks relieved even in the manwha.
After this he’s suppose to try things out with Raphiel one more time before they decide to meet behind Raphiel’s father’s back and finish their relationship with a kiss. That’s when Raphiel cries and Klopp tastes his tears and realizes Aeroc is his destined pair.
Then he’s supposed to find Aeroc walking into the slums to get suppressants and only THEN they kiss and have sex. But in the manwha they’re gonna kiss in the next chapter (or the following idk remember exactly), and that takes impact from the depth and complexity of their relationship. But oh well, I’m still enjoying it lol

It’s been such a long time! I knew from the raws but man it feels so good to see Hyunsoo finally moving past his bpd for once and allowing himself to exteriorize his feelings for Youngchan, and accept them as they are

Bro is smitten but in denial. He’s always been in love with Jae-won. But never has been able to accept it until way more into the story. Jaewon on the other hand, has always seen him as a friend. He only starts lightly considering seeing him in a different light after he himself stops seeing random people with the candle and starts picturing the blonde guy as a partner. Only then tiny bits of interest start surfacing.
They do have sex. Because it gets harder and harder for the top to hold back his desire and feelings. And Jaewon agrees because he thinks both of them are picturing different people and are using each other as a way of relieving pent up desires.
This story is particular because there’s barely any dialogue and explanations. The creator has had (or chosen) the task of conveying the characters feelings only through drawing. It’s an emotional slow burn with tiny and significant details here and there.
I love how in this manwha Nakwon has been trying his best to redeem himself without stop being himself altogether and people are like “nah rapist rapist suffer suffer I hate you” like y’all like redemption only when it’s convenient for you.
Y’all are about forgiveness and growth when is a character YOU like or when YOU want things going some way. A bunch of hypocrites.
If you don’t like Nakwon stop reading this story. Nobody wants to read your constant nagging and pseudo convenient moral preach. Stfu
