I’d assume most readers fully realize that yaoi relationships aren’t reflective of actual real life gay couples. I’ve imagined straight men reading yuri and it doesn’t bother me as long as they accept that those stories don’t neccessarily reflect reality just as I have. Stories are stories. If you've read my comment, clearly, I did not just specifically want yaoi/yuri genres. It was to let anyone who was willing to recommend me a story, have an idea that I do not care what its genre is anyway.

If you're wondering, then what about the "intended for actual gay men" or "just for men", Bara was the concept of "actual gay manga for gay people". Things change, as well as the audience.
