She really is a girl, but most importantly, she is not Sovieshu's. Rashta was already pregnant when she ran away from the count's house but she didn't know, and since she and sovieshu did the deed right afterwards, the confusion happened. Even she thinks her baby is sovieshu's..

wat i heard was the child was indeed soveshit & the duke screwed with the paternity test so soveshit literally threw out his own actual child & he was shocked coz dat wat he wanted all along
I also heard the empress was indeed infertile however after sleeping with heinley in the magical bed dat was meant 2 help fertility she was able 2 get pregnant with twins

A woman who got raped will obviously can't even look at her child, maybe it's the same for man (despite he's not the one who gave birth to blanche, but maybe seeing blanche reminds him about how his mother and his wife forced him to have an heir), so yeah that's why he's cold to blanche, and i think it's excusable
So there might be chance that Jeremy turns normal?
