You can see that (soon to be) Angla still got abused by her teacher, and she didn't have friends in the mansion because as Angla she was ordered to be submissive to Julian and can't go back to her classmates (will be explained in later chapters).
Angla didn't hate Julian personally, though. She knew that he is not a total bad guy because if we put the "branding" aside, Julian treated her well (nice dresses, well fed and provided) and worried about her... unfortunately, not as a person but as posession. I had so much in mind. I went back to read chapter 26 since I couldn't remember shit and oh boy if I didn't feel bad for the potato with blood on it like... Did it get cleaned up and started a peaceful life or did it get thrown into the cold and filthy also while reading the next chapter I kept singing the song "A potato flew around my room before you came in" the whole time so I didn't really pay a lot of attention into the last chapter..

I think it all depends on the author. There are manga where they're in elementary or middle school before they took the test. Then there are manga that know before the child birth. I forgot the name of the manga, but it was set of twin of Alpha and Omega. The doctor warn the mothers before the twin were born that it be difficult to raise an Omega in a full house of alpha.
