Taeseung is reaping the consequences of having sex with Sooyoung as a method of control.
Sooyoung has always found sex as a release for his complicated emotions, he thinks of sex as the only way to be truly honest with himself and Taeseung.

Result? The harder the pressure on Sooyoung, the more intense he gets with his masochistic and submissive tendencies, to the point now of hurting himself deliberately in the name of atonement.

I like how this shows that d/s is a two-way street. The sub completely submits, but the dom also needs to control and limit carefully, bc often the sub will push themselves too far…
Since the conflict is emotional, hopefully Taeseung catches on that what Sooyoung needs right now is also emotional (so more extreme humiliation and aftercare and less physical punishment).

To be fair, taking care of Jaekyung was probably Dan’s way of not confronting his problems; he could tolerate the pain of Jaekyung because then he had someone to blame for living such a lonely, miserable life. And be thankful for the help of surviving.

Dan thrives on community and connection, and he lost all that when he ‘injured’ Jaekyung.
Because he’s been living for other people so long, he doesn’t know how to live for himself. I felt bad for the grandma…she probably wants to see Dan thrive, even at the price of leaving her behind. To see him waste away and have him die by suicide because she said she wanted to go to the beach would kill her immediately.

If there is any hope for Jaekyung, i hope he can put his selfishness aside for 2 months and completely care for Dan until he has the courage to stand up again.
Dan needs to figure out what he wants from life after his grandma dies. If he doesn’t find out, he’ll attempt again, and I don’t think Jaekyung will be able to stop him. I’m worried Jaejyung might give up on him…but he knows damn well nobody else is in a position to do it. He better learn some humbleness at how difficult it is to take care of a human being!!!!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE when my favourite characters suffer. I want to see them break, but like emotionally, not mentally (because it gets boring when they become a doll yk?). Cuteness agression??

Seonho seems competent (he survived a city center and a school alone, after all) and logical, so I feel like he’ll climb the ranks fast. If the ‘weak’ kid is smart, he’ll realize he has to appeal to Won to survive instead of going all yandere and stabbing people.
So far, the side character seem like npcs, but I hope they develop the guy who’s brother was killed by Seonho. Like pity and helping him out, or smth.

Won the zombie-whisperer…I wonder if Seonho will become smth like a monster-tamer, or if Won plays the long con and gets him dependent on his favour? Maybe instead Won’ll turn Seonho into smth like him?
Food for thought. Anyway, looking forward to reading more!
