Even if it is a prank, did he really think someone will go through it to the point where they're having sex regularly? Mc has been nothing but welcoming when it comes to it too lol.

Doha's dialogue about how even if Bada is wrong about his assumptions, he'll never leave his side, why does that feel like foreshadowing. Is it just me? Bada is technically an unreliable narrator, we only know what he himself knows. The narration itself is limited to what the characters experience. Bada said that he can't quite remember his real life anymore and how he got inside the game. What if he's wrong and this isn't actually about survival but a different one? Is it a last man standing/hunger games type of thing? But how come he can't kill the killer? Should he kill the other NPCs? Ugh because of that line I really feel like Bada is playing the game incorrectly... Imagine if it's actually an otome game lmaoooooooo kidding aside, I love the fact that this story keeps me guessing (≧∀≦)

pretty sure it's not a last man standing/hunger games plot.. it was mentioned in the beginning that bada has already tried out multiple different ways to end the loop and was last man standing at one point earlier in the story.

Penelope doesn't have lick of real affection for Eclis, there's no way in hell she'll take him up on his offer. She hardly even contemplated that this could be the 1% she needs. And honestly? Eclis doesn't have anything to offer, not even a personality to make up for his lack of everything. How could you expect Penelope to fall for him when not even his looks can make up for the flaws he has?
Also, his entire dialogue feels like he's spitting on Penelope's hard work. So fcking what if she's an Eckhart in name only, if her position isn't originally hers? She still has power, and over the course of the story, she managed to make a name for herself. He wasn't there when she truly only has a name and not the power to wield it, with the maids treating her as lower, and yet he has the audacity to act as if her name wasn't earned. The nerve to question her position when he's in the same situation. A knight only because Penelope said so. What a hypocrite.
And here I thought we're finally done with Takaya.....
Yamada is in the place where Akane grew up and we barely even get scenes where they're alone and having a moment. Instead, all they did is navigate and tiptoe around the feelings of someone who wallowed in angst and made everything unnecessarily complicated.

One of the reasons this arc is one of my favorites is the absolute audacity these two has. It's insane and cruel to ask your lover to kill you herself countless of times in order to come back to your senses. But just letting it happen and welcoming it with open arms blows my mind too, he's not even Gongja but the butler when it happens and yet he doesn't struggle nor defend himself.
Here we have two people who's expectations for the other reaches the sky and still they achieve it. Gongja just secured a way for him and Raviel to have the same time, something that's basically almost impossible to happen even across different stories. Then we got Raviel who's trust in him knows no bounds and the sheer will to follow through with her promise. She really killed him when he scarred her heart, and I can't believe he took that into account in his plan. What a power couple. And the more amazing thing is they were all able to do it because they fcking love each other so fcking much ohmygod
It's so understandable why Doha was being so patient in trying to woo Bada, he's got the makings of those super red flags who would r*ape the MC then not even apologise but he isn't cuz he's in for the long game. Plus Bada is definitely worth the wait, he's so lovely.

I think a lot of the readers are used to the typical pacing of bl stories. I read from different genres and it's not unusual for romance to take a backseat to focus on the MC's interests or whatever. The romance is definitely a subplot for this one and the target market are definitely gamers lol. I'm not one but I like slow burn and learning new things so I'm enjoying the plot so far. It's nice to get a glimpse of the gaming world and how the drama still happens when they're not even in the same room lmao.
I have a feeling the pace is about to pick up though, cuz the title is about to occur (≧∀≦)
