So what if the translation isn't what it used to be and if the quality isn't as high as before? The plot is what made me stay as a reader from when I was younger than Kyoko and up to now that I'm the same age as Ren.
Also, Nakamura-sensei has always been detailed with their storytelling, Idk why y'all think it's dragging when the pacing has always been like this, a slow burn. The romance is basically the subplot, the focus is always about Kyoko growing as a person, whether its through her career in acting or healing her heart. Plus considering the timeline of the story, not even two years has passed. That's such a short amount of time to accomplish her goals, only a time skip can fix that but I don't want that. I want to be with her every step of the way or at least the important parts, I'm basically a fan of Kyoko as an actor, ofc I want to watch every role she plays!!! I love this story so much, it's literally my childhood ╥﹏╥

The slow burn is felt even more since the hiatus and the update is not as regular as before. Nakamura-sensei was on sick leave, so i kinda understand the irregular update time.
The recent uploads weren't even a scanlation group. A few people were nice enough to do their best to give us a translation. It's better than trying to do it ourselves. People had to go and complain and whine because they are entitled like that and now we aren't getting anything. People are still sharing the raws but they aren't bothering to translate. The mangaka has been ill the past few years which is why updates are so slow and the art style has changed. I wouldn't be surprised if she wraps up the story over the next year or so due to her health. I'll be buying the complete boxset once it's released in English (if it is) but I'm thankful to all the people who have spent their time making translations for us for free.

I hope mc stays consistently chill with everything, so when they inevitably develop feelings, he can just go with the flow as always and there'd be no running away or avoiding arc lol. Misunderstandings are honestly only fun in moderation and when it doesn't undo the all the development the characters had. It's so frustrating when they don't even bother to listen to reason and just go straight to the worst thing they can imagine.
I'm also so glad mc has been asking for a clarification everytime he has doubts. And it's refreshing how the ml answers him truthfully as well. I didn't expect it but this story is so relaxing. Not that it's boring, it's just that the characters are mostly logical and so, unnecessary heartache caused by imagined grief isn't present.
All y'all's rage and rants about how Hyo-un was a child and got raised by Taehyuk are all for nothing lmaoooo. I commented a couple chapters ago that I'm actually worried for mc cuz regardless of the ml's "age", he's got all the advantages. Plus ahem the first few chapters basically set the tone for the whole story, somehow, quite a lot of people forgot that their first time is dub-con at best lol. This is the reason why I'm more concerned with mc.
From the way the chapter is going, it's gonna stay consistent with the ongoing theme of consent being an afterthought and making amends later. I'm hoping it doesn't end the way we're all thinking, but I wouldn't really be surprised or even disappointed if it does.
