I don't know if the author intended it or not (they must've) but this arc assuaged a lot of my concerns regarding Gongja's mental health. It elevated his character to new heights with his discovery of love and he found someone to share a life with.
And this is gonna be controversial but I really like how there's also a focus on non-action issues. Honestly, I consider my imagination pretty good but c'mon now, continues action scenes with almost no narration and just the movements makes me scroll fast (I'm glad suicide hunter isn't like this, I fcking loved the arc about his master from the demon sect, so beautiful). It's cool but I can only think cool and wow a couple of times before I get bored and go straight to the result lol. There's gotta be a balance. So I really love how the story's focusing on emotions and relationships right now. We get to know the main character deeper, and discover new things along with them. It's fun seeing him fall in love.
Also, it's rare to see in actions stories a pairing that's on equal grounds. They're both a lil bit crazy and are so madly in love with each other. They're so cute after this too, calling each other with petnames and being extreme as usual. Anyways, the next chapter is definitely gonna be so satisfying. Gongja's brain is so sexy!!!
