Y'all don't know how fuckin' stressed I am with Gongja's disregard with his life. Ever since I knew that it affects him everytime he dies and even experiences the trauma of the people he kills, my stomach clenches. Therein lies the path towards ruin and destruction, the possibility of him breaking mounts higher and higher with every death and I'm so scared it will happen soon. I'm so glad he met Raviel ╥﹏╥ I can rest easy knowing he won't carelessly throw away his life anymore.
Tbh, I really liked that he experiences the trauma of the people he kills, but at some point, it went too far and I can see the cracks forming. It will also be more immersive as the skill grows and he's truly fcked if he continues the way he when he reaches that point.

In the novel, the trauma he experiences got worse. He wasn't just an observer and the person/victim in the memories anymore, he was an active perpetrator of the crime. The reason for their death. And for someone who can empathize even with his "enemies", I was relieved cuz he doesn't need to do this any more than he needs to or at all because of his promise to Raviel. Ugh I was so stressed in that arc my god.
The flashback, the talk about the seal suppressing his memories and now his cold attitude with Paljae... I guess, the seal broke huh. He remembers those that he has forgotten and that's why his interactions with Paljae is stilted and awkward aaaaahhhhhh and now we all have to wait for the next season before we know what will happen! Oh, the pain of finding an absolutely beautiful and thought-provoking piece of literature~ The wait hurts but wait I will patiently do cuz this story deserves it!!!!

I love it!!!! Babies and kids in stories has always been a weakness of mine cuz they're cute and adorable and so precious! I'm so glad mc, despite reincarnating dozens of times, didn't become the typical adult in a child's body. He's really enjoying being a kid and IS an actual one. You’re right this world was created with him as the protagonist, so some corruption of Hilda would make sense. It would be interesting to see how/if she assists with the murders. I’ve commented that people who she dislikes or people who’ve commented heinous crimes would be a start. However, she’s very much sticking to her values of ensuring no one dies so long as she can stop it and he’s gone for the killings of opportunity mostly (a maid here a random bystander there when he goes to town). I also wonder if the author is going the fallen angel route (Lucifer) an if the underworld/hell has gone into disarray?
