Perhaps he was supressing his mistake and running away from the guilt and pain of abandoning his daughter...he had a lot going on and people usually become detached to emotions....but still after he was better off he could have took some time but yk how people avoid painful, lenghty process usually

They're gonna be fighting Frieren at her peak when the most optical way to take them out was already developed and refined to make their death a certainty. I have a feeling the most challenging part of the fight might be Frieren holding back using the spells considered basic in the future damn poor guys
I think very cutesy and innocent illustrations depicting gruesome visuals and gore should be a genre of its own. It would be fun to browse that tag and get horrified with the plot but also coo at how adorable the characters are, the irony makes it all the more fcked up lol

Ma boi, Iwai, I know you're in love with her and concerned but honestly, bringing up something from 2nd grade isn't proof enough. You nailed it but MC can easily deny cuz her nii-chan truly has been harmless to people so far. There's a reason people flock to him and it's because he's good in pretending and acting nice despite being a psychopath. Plus, she's doing her best to keep him being "kind" so saying he isn't surely terrifies her. It's unintentional but that will definitely not endear you to her.
And the truth is she already knows what he’s capable of in full. Makoto is highly suspicious of everyone and doesn’t want anyone…even his own mother getting in his way. He realized she not only knew how to get into his computer but looked at his search history. It’s a careful line she’s walking and her efforts paid off, he now only thinks in explicit detail about killing others that bother him. He’s having some real complicated emotions and thoughts…juggling feeling immensely gratified with killing not only another human but someone he’s realized he loves now and feeling wretched and empty for doing so.
I wonder if an alternate version now that she changed the course of event would be still going through with his dangerous games, but she prevents him from actually killing anyone. Or less people from her intervention.

You hit it dead on (pun intended lol) as of now, he has thoughts of killing her but just the idea of it makes him sick to his stomach. And so he realizes he actually fell in love with her. However, he still wants to kill her cuz he's truly fcking crazy but also he can't cuz y'know he's in love with her, he doesn't want her to be gone. That love prevents him from killing anyone else cuz he wants his first kill to be special. It has to be her, it's romantic in a fcked up way lol
I figured as much…I’m glad she saved his classmates but at what cost? But his psyche is twisted or fucked up. I kept thinking about the line between brilliance and insanity being a thin one. He’s a genius but ever since he was small only taking life has given him a thrill. I like that the author made the soul match the the FL character, since she’s isekaied her personality and behavior is different. I don’t think his original stepsister would have made a fool of herself to make him actually confused about her human behavior and wonder what she’ll do next.
Idk why but I think I actually like it when the mutual pining is realized and then they have to wait before they get together... I guess this is a consequence of loving slow burn lol. They have to wait 5 years before they can freely show their love and this other manga I'm reading is also waiting for their own goals to be realized before being in a relationship. The wait hurts so bad cuz I just want them all to be a couple already but the longing and the mounting want is just too good, I can't get enough of it.(≧∀≦)

I've been reading so much that I became familiar with the cliches and twists authors do, so I'm glad to find a story that keeps me on my toes. Love me a story that genuinely surprises me.

Holy fcking sht, I kid you not I didn't sleep just so I'll know what the next part is gonna be. I haven't felt this way about a story for quite a while, I missed it so much ╥﹏╥ The kind of story that reignites my love for reading and makes me realize how blessed I am to be able to do what I love the most. It's so good ohmygod I'm so tired I binged read it nonstop.
The characterization is what really drew me in. So much care and depth put into all the people in this story. They're all so devastatingly human it makes me cry. It's not even limited to the protagonists, I can feel how much thought was put into the antagonists as well. I love it so much.
Also, some of the lines was so similar to what my favorite artists say!!! The thing about practicing being the key to a good performance, how hardwork might not always be rewarded but you'll also learn from it too, and how they continue to play because they truly love playing. Ugh I love everything about it so so so much. I'm kinda delirious right now Idk if it what I say makes sense anymore. I'm so fcking happy I read this!!!!!!
