As embarrassing as mc is, it was actually in character for her to be so fixated with love and romance. She must've read hundreds of love stories to not even remember or know anything about the book she transmigrated in. Cuz idk about y'all but I'm guilty of the same thing. I've read so many stories that they're all starting to blur together lol. I think the only ones I remember the general plot and details on is those which are insanely good and my favorites. Readers usually read to escape reality and live a different life, the genre she likes the most is romance, is it really that surprising that she also wants to experience love?
So, it's embarrassing AF but it makes so much sense for her character too. I guess we just gotta suffer through all her shenanigans huh

as much as i got miffed by her character i do agree with you. it’s pretty onbrand since she doesn’t really see these characters in the book as people, so she’s very much testing the waters at this point. It’s only when they start revealing they’re also regressors to her that she starts breaking. The art exaggerates her ‘teehee’ personality.

I was so hyped at the first few chapters, it truly started off so well... and then things escalated way too quickly to the point where it felt like the story itself got away from the author. Ugh I'm so unsatisfied. Usually, when the story ain't hitting I immediately quit. But I held hope for this cuz it started so good and I really like the premise! So disappointing I'm so sad
Idk about anything else but from the very start, I felt like he was a ticking time bomb. He was indeed the easiest to develop an affection for mc, but at the same time, he was in such a disadvantageous position to the point where any feelings that could develop would be tainted with the fact that he is a slave owned by Penelope. It's like Stockholm syndrome, it'll never truly be love. Even before I read some spoilers of what he will do, I was really scared of his route. He was too volatile for me and as the "shortcut", it feels imminent that nothing but a bad end will happen.
