I specially love how the act of kneeling was such a pivotal part of the story. Everything started with Paul's pledge and now at the end, Lucius kneels to ask for her hand in marriage. I'm so glad even the issue with the discrimination of women is addressed. It really could have ended the first time they were engaged and it would've been fine since wow the FL and ML are married, happy ending! But no, the misogyny being a constant source of conflict was addressed and a solution is actually presented. Now that's a satisfying happy ending!
(If we could have more scenes with the baby then I'll be overjoyed, please I want to see the cutie patootie

The struggles of finding a decent love story or even having a bit of chemistry between a couple in action manga is so fcking difficult. I know the genre is action so I shouldn't expect much but somehow the authors will always put some romance in it and FAIL. Please just don't do it. It only makes the story annoying when it's so poorly executed. Don't do it, most were reading it for the action anyways.
So SSS-Class Suicide Hunter doing it so well made me absolutely love this arc. The dynamics between them is soooo good. It got me giggling and sht when I was reading the novel. Squealing like a maiden in love ohmygod. When I read the burning mansion/hellfire maiden arc, that's when I knew it's different from others. That action won't be the main focus but the psychological aspect instead. And now we're delving into love!!! Which was so fcking amazing. They're literally perfect for each other. A mean bitch and a mean bastard ahhhhhh!

Sometimes I think he goes too far in his demands for rewards and treatment towards the system but then I remember that they were the ones who lied to him about his brother so, I figured it's fine lol. I really love Yoojin as a main character. He questions and feels contempt even to those who helps him which is deserved heh. He doesn't take what he got for granted and knows that for them he's just a tool for a purpose he doesn't quite understand.
I'm hoping he continues going along this way so when the usual reveal of their true goal comes, he would be prepared, not just shocked and betrayed. This ain't a spoiler too, I'm just thinking since your benefactor turning out to be not quite on your side is a cliche ┗( T﹏T )┛
