I know it's one of the easiest way to create conflict but c'mon now, can't we have done that with them being just friends?
(It's just a thought but the "best friend" only making a move when there's already someone else kind of leaves a bad taste... Feels like it ain't actually genuine since a part of their motivation to make a move /now/ is because of competition. I know there's a lot of circumstances involved but ehhh that's how it feels for me )
Tell me if I'm wrong but, is Asius' life about to end whether the goddess is killed or not? Or will he live if the b*tch dies? Cus if he dies either way due to prolonging it longer than he should have, then we're about to have a bad end regardless of them finding a solution within a year!（/TДT)/ I don't think Lisbelle is even aware of this detail. Fck we're heading into a double suicide at this point!
I was happy for a hot minute cus it seems like things are looking up but then I thought of this and now I'm devastated. I'm really fcking hoping we get a happy ending for this tragic couple, they deserve it pleaseeeee

I gotta admit that reading the last few chapters has been frustrating. It's a testament to the authors storytelling since Gojo's feelings and emotions are leaking out of the screen. I can feel it and now I'm getting frustrated just like he does. He truly is an artist experiencing the pain of creation. Giving life to the idea inside of you and doing your best make it as similar as possible. I'm so relieved he finally found what he was looking for. This arc really drove home the fact that Gojo is a serious artisan. If it wasn't as apparent before (which it is) then it's clearer now.

It's been a long journey, we've been through war, politics, death, a one night stand, unexpected pregnancy, birthing, almost a wedding and a year of no contact but finally, once again, they're standing side by side fighting for the same reasons just like old times. Really loved the callback to how everything started, with Paul pledging her life to being his knight and now to being his partner (I'm hoping) for life.
If everything goes well, she's gonna be marrying him as Paul Winter. The marriage won't strip away all the accolades and rights tied to that name but instead, will only be adding to what she already has. That's exactly what a marriage should be. A union of hearts, with equal partners sharing a life together. No one giving up their entire identity for it to happen. I'm ever so glad Paul took a stand in keeping her hard-earned name. Doing so fundamentally changed their society.
Look at that, we got an emperor in a story actually using that power politically to change things up. And it ain't even an isekai from a person in the future!
Takaya, my sweet summer child, I'm sorry to say but your unrequited love will continue to be so. Yamada and Akane is OTP. You're gonna have to move on.
Meanwhile, the friends got me fuming lol. I understand that Takaya is who they're familiar with but Yamada was never painted as a bad boyfriend. They're talking as if he's not deserving of the love and relationship he has with Akane just because Takaya has been holding a torch for her for so long. It's too late now, it sucks but eh it is what is is.
Their hands must be burning from the absolute slayness of the artstyle!!! Love love love the flow of the illustrations, especially when depicting movement. AND the colors! It makes me wanna eat the screen, it looks so appetizing ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
