Usually with this time of plot, the time travel provides the mc with a clean slate. They can make amends with everything they desire. But when it was revealed that the original Yoohyun was actually lost and outside the influence of turning back time, my jaw fcking dropped. I honestly didn't expect that kind of twist.

I felt so so bad for Yoojin when he found out. Imagine losing everything and betting what was left in what you thought was a chance to get back what was lost, but then it turns out you never really had a chance to get it back. And then he keeps being reminded of that failure, realizing somewhere out there, was the body of his baby brother, cold and alone.

To the people pointing out the shallowness of the lil bro's character, you're right on the mark, cuz in the fanfiction world, mc paired with lil bro's boyfriend is a popular ship lmao and it's actually working out cuz there is a solid foundation in canon for that route. MC def lowered down his guard when he thought those two being in a relationship deters a flag. I guess he didn't read those messy af bl's with cheating lol

This is the reason why I fcking love slow burn!!! The interaction between the characters develop their dynamics with each other. We get to know them as they get to know each other and see for ourselves how feelings were born. There's intimacy to be found in the smallest gestures.

The progress got too fast in this adaptation we had more moments with widdle baby yoohyung in the novel

The high when I saw the massive amount of chapters and then the immediate low when the next chapter introduced a screaming woman

So refreshing to see the perspective of someone close to a regressor. Usually they're alone or lied to by everyone before going back, so the emotions and consequences evoked by the changes they brought were anger and humiliation from enemies. This time, it's from a person who truly loved them despite their flaws. Someone who, if we're going by experience, should have been the one to regress. It must be so confusing for Lily that mother dearest is finally acting like a mother or at least someone undrunk lol. She's an angel, frankly it's a miracle, for her truly loving and caring for someone who is by all means her abuser.


I'm relieved that Lily's mother is really trying to change what will happen. It's wonderful to see our MC getting the life she deserves without the stress of having to do everything in her power for things to not go it did originally. Just be happy baby, enjoy life's riches and eat well.
