18 year old female somewhere in south Asia. Been reading yaoi for 3 years now. Started with Junjou Romantica (which I totally fell in love with). Switched to manga, light novels, and english gay romance novels since there are not enough animes. I read yaoi to pass the time. A lot of my close friends (and my mom too) know that I read yaoi. I know people read a lot of yaoi/ yuri, but I want to know what you really think of it. Do you love the story because it's fiction but are disgusted about it in real life? Do you think it's beautiful or do you just read it for the smut?

I am asking this because I have met people who had contrary opinions about yaoi/ yuri in fiction and real life (I know, it's weird) （￣へ￣） I don't know how anyone could have that thought, though #－.－)
