joo geun's character is such a breath of fresh air, he's the type to set things straight, no bullsht, and no dilly dallying. he doesn't come off as insentive and tries to be considerate to the people around him which aligns to his profession and i love details like that.
i also like the friendship he have with hyesung and hopefully we'll have some of hyesungs story too in the future cause he's honestly such a genuine friend and a good character too.

"it's such a relief... that i have you to love"
the way this line made me tear up and just made me pause and think about how amazing it would feel to have someone who sees and feels for you like that.
inwoo is such a well written character and the author wrote him with so much detail that i actually felt physical pain without being hurt? like how? my chest feels heavy...
my only gripe is the side pair, i feel like they're unnecessary in this story and should've been in a spin off or in the extras. i could care less about them (i srsly can't stand that moss head asshole.) i just want to read more about inwoo and jisoo

It's so hard to find BLs like this, I'm so happy that the baseball/sport aspect isn't just a subgenre but is actually the main theme. It gives so much flavor and depth to the story and characters. Also i absolutely love the main characters they reminded me of all my fav batteries in baseball animes/mangas.

bro i thought i was gonna get some fluff with this one but it's so angsty i absolutely love it! i feel for both sides tbh, i understand where yujae is standing, it's scary when you're in a situation you don't understand and especially if the topic is about sexuality.
i feel for him, i can actually feel the fear through my screen cause i went through that as well. that confusion? trying to go back to what's used to be cuz then you wan't have to handle all the "weird" thoughts in your head? trying to be "normal"? avoiding the possibility that you maybe are attracted to the same sex? it's one hell of a ride and it's also a different kind of pain especially for him cause it also has to do with his only best friend. there's going to be a lot of mental gymnastics. the only problem is that since he still doesn't understand what's going on he does things in extremeties and that ends up hurting hanjun.
you know they reminded me of jian yi and zhan zhengxi in the early chapters of 19 days, the author did so well in showing the inner turmoil of coming to terms with sexuality. the author wrote those two so well, honestly my fav part of 19 days.

no cuz i hope everyone who just hates yujae, without really thinking why, i jope they all see this cause this comment is perfect explanation. I personally haven't gone through this but i went through something very similar and you just can't explain it when the "wait this isn't right.." happens, u can't really explain it better, but i think this comment really captures the feeling in that moment
"got a long list of ex-lovers
they'll tell you I'm insane
cause you know I love the players
and you love the game"
that's pretty much about it, there's no defending any of them cause they're both shitty in their own way. ml is definitely the reason why his "friend" died but mc doesn't give a damn of said "friend". mc is a proud slut and he knows he's an asshole and he embraces that which is interesting cause you don't encounter such mcs that often here.
Is this a Taylor Swift song?
No it's a BTS song
dont disrespect BTS like that
Don't troll me too much please, i love BTS
