so as I understand it Honda is freaking out because he thinks that he's making it harder on kaido to pursue his dreams. he says that its happening again and that he promised himself he wouldnt hurt him again because when they were in high school Honda hurt kaido because he was jealous.
also, if you've read oko-sama box, the timelines are starting to connect I think and what we see here is what leads up to the beginning of that manga. like when Honda and kaido meet fujita at the cafe he works at and they get the coupon and Honda mentions giving it to Kawasaki, that happens in oko-sama box because that's the spin-off story of oko-sama star, featuring fujita and kawasaki.
