It's a reincarnation story, something clearly went wrong with the mother that caused her to die and most of the time the "main character" in reincarnation stories don't realize the worth of important people until it's too late. So I think it makes sense that the mother now knows what's truly important and is trying to make up for that. I agree she had to actually Apologize and what-not but I think when more stories are uploaded...well see everything that truly happened to the mother

So she has been been isolated and abused all her life. Not given enough food or other necessities till now but she is fine? There is not a hint of malnutrition or abuse. Her skin glows, hair is thick and shiny and she isnt emaciated. She has gone without proper contact with anyone for years and yet she has no social anxiety or ptsd?
I know this is a fiction but if you decided to use the abuse trope , a little effort in it’s consequences would have been better. Weak writing imo.
