The story might seem basic and similar to others, but it’s honestly amazing how far it’s gone and how it still leaves space for more side stories — and in a good way. I get that a lot of people aren’t into the main characters, but I actually like that the omega has a strong will. He’s not physically tough, but he’s smart and clear about what he wants. As for the alpha, it took him a long time to realize his feelings, and while I don’t agree at all with how he treated Seolu — being confused doesn’t give him the right to hurt or control him — at least he’s aware of his mistakes now and wants to make it right. That doesn’t erase everything Seolu went through, but he did help him break free from that toxic family, and that counts for something. Overall, I enjoyed it. Hoping we’ll get to see more of their journey together and the alpha’s growth too.
I honestly wasn’t expecting that, but hot take — I’m glad the MC chose to end his life, and I respect the author for having the courage to go there. At this point, I’d rather see the MC find peace in death than keep living while being haunted by his past and constantly tolerating the two MLs' actions. Like in most manhwa, it felt like it was heading toward the usual ending — forgive the people who hurt you, let it go, and move on — but that’s just not realistic for someone who’s been through that much trauma. Not everyone gets a healing arc, and I appreciate that this story acknowledged that. Hopefully it really ends here and mc will not have any amnesia nor disabled arc where he will have to depend on ml.
