I really preferred the long black haired duke or the silver haired knight tbh, they really had chemistry especially the knight. Its really weird that he suddenly appeared out of nowhere and at first he seemed to have bad intentions towards the fl tbh and it turns out he was the ml all along? I dropped this after reading the spoiler that he really was the ml, i swear second mls always hit so different. They're usually the ones willing to risk their everything for the fl.
This manhwa rlly just sucks, not the story tho but the characters, i cant really accept daniel being the ml when the second mls have so much potential and chemistry to be the ml instead

Hear me out, solo leveling is overrated.
At first, I gotta admit that I was pretty addicted to it after reading the first season but now after reading the novel and re-reading the manhwa (up to latest chapter), I realize this isnt even worthy to be called an underrated manhwa.
Sung Jinwoo always needs to be the one saving other people's asses, he's too over powered. And the romance? I have no problem w it but, I dont really think they suit each other, like as far as i remember he called her out to like hang out w him as a "friend" and the next thing was they go to a secluded place and kiss (?). If I were to choose someone I think I would prefer the healer girl, she was one of the people who cared about Jinwoo even before when he was named as the weakest hunter.
Imo i feel like this is would be considered underrated for you if you're interested in OP main characters that simply has no flaw at all.
Anyways its just my opinion so for the ppl who wants to read it, its a good read. It was just not my cup of tea.

Tbh, I can kinda agree that this is overrated and its the same cliche story that the MC goes from weak to one of the most powerful, and there's slight romance, etc (also wondering why the hell Jin woo did not end up with the healer girl, I think she was way better ╮(￣▽￣)╭ )
But I think that the story is 100% fun to read and the artwork does kinda cover up the flaws in the manhwa, SL was my first action/fantasy manhwa that I've read but there are definitely way more better stories with a better plot then this
Your opinion is valid. For me, I’m a sucker for these types of OP mc manhwas so this seems like all the hype for me. But it is cliche so I get where you’re coming from. The art is also top tier which is why it’s really popular.

I second this. But solo leveling is still personal in my heart, because it was an eye-opening for me (about game-themed/isekai story). I begin to read other isekai hungrily, to the point I left my yaoi list for a month now! Wow.
In my opinion, ORV is better than solo leveling. Much more detailed with almost the same art. Beside ORV, there are also few other amazing story as well.
Solo leveling starts great, but then it reached its peak. Now after mc is overpowered, there's no thrill like I used to feel when reading it.
i agree with you, good and enjoyable are very different, while this may not be a good story in the way its written, it definitely is fun to read and gets me hooked

I pretty much agree that ORV is better than SL except Kim Dokja sacrificing his life every few seconds. I also liked the fact that in ORV, each character has their own strength, they can also shine and able to win a fight without relying too much on the main character.
Well yes thats one of the reason but imo no matter how many times you re-read a manhwa, if its really good you can never stop getting bored of re-reading it even if you already know what's going yo happen. Pretty much until now I still re-read TOTCF and ORV novel even if it takes me weeks to finish it.

Ehm honestly he's not wrong tho, you cant expect everyone to wait for you, just like with his ex, he cant forever keep loving him when he was gone for like years so he assumed that yoon is either missing/dead. Kwon is also approaching this in the wrong way, he's a bit too harsh on yoon but his words arent completely wrong. Yoon's also quite hesitant, i know he has a hard time moving on but the problem is he isnt bold and brave enough.
He's also in the middle of processing his feelings since Taejoo starts to come back to him but we all kind of get the gist that his feelings with Kwon weighs more.
