I love how hard the ML is trying, and that the FL is just in her own world lol
And as much as I loathe misunderstandings like these (this one isn’t that bad), it makes a good plot driver and allows for the FL/ML to grow closer. Just hope it gets resolved soon and not dragged out...
For once I want a FL who understands that her getting involve with the ML she “oh so doesn’t want to get involved with“, while straying from her novel role will actually affect the “plot.” I’m getting tired of these basic dense ditsy female leads

I don't mind it so much; these novels all always paint the ML as being obsessively in love with the story's FL and that their romance is TRUE LOVE, it would be arrogant to assume that you could come between supposed destined lovers just by existing/avoiding the protag. Like if I transmigrated into Romeo and Juliet I don't expect to be able to steal Romeo away from Juliet!
That said, what IS annoying is when they're oblivious to the ML's feelings even when all the evidence shows that his feelings have changed. That being said, I don't think it's fair to accuse Serena of that at this point. They've been married for a YEAR and he's ignored her all that time just like in the original story and his attitude changes just as the novel FL appears so I don't think she's reached the point of obliviousness yet. It's not even that she is denying potential to be the ML's FL, its that she REALLY DOESN'T want to be the person you love. He ends up confessing to her and she panics and runs off because the original novel is a tragedy: the FL ends up dying (I believe she's assassinated by the ML's enemies as a way to get at im). So if SHE'S the one he loves then the one who dies might be her and she doesn't want that.

This is exactly what irks me about it –not considering how the FL feels on this specific topic, cause she obvi doesn’t want to be with him (at the beginning), that much is a given considering he was the sole reason she was wanted to stray from the orig plot– But it’s the fact that the FL is always oblivious to and never considering the possible chance that the ML will end up liking her for acting different than the orig character that was hated. It’s just a whole domino effect and I wish they would realize it and not ALWAYS act surprised/confused about it.

I know she’s suppose to be seen as a genius and all but you cannot tell me you’d be 180 the hell out of there if a less than a year old baby started talking to you in full sentences. That’s some demon baby shit lmao
Aside from that tho, this is getting really good! It’s prob obvious but I’m guessing that Asterias Castillo guy is related to the Terra whale and that lady who let Calliope time travel back (given the color scheme; white w/pale blue eyes) and is prob watching over her cause of her special abilities.
Also I love how Calliope and Asterias’ Greek meaning ties so well with the characters, Calliope for beautiful voice and also in Greek mythology tying heavily to singing and poetry (which funny enough her parents mentioned that lol), and specially Asterias for stars, or also the same name of the sea stars species which still fits well if given that he is related to Terra who’s form is a whale ^^
So excited to see how this comic ends
