I don't think it's her brother. Think abt it she said that he's with that mercenary grp that her father used to lead which the emperoor don't know about and he(emperor) still haven't found her brother coz he doesn't know the whereabouts of her brother.

I think so, too. It seems like their whole agreement about her betrayal so he can conquer the Emperor's country is built on a house of cards. All it takes is the Emperor brainwashing him, somehow, and it's back to the guillotine for her.
It would be lovely if the appearance of the Crown Prince dampened Rain's ardour once and for all, but these stories are never that simple, are they?

I feel like my brains are bleeding out. The Emperor wants to forcibly take her as a concubine, but ML shows up and ... for no rhyme or reason, nothing happens. The Empress and First Concubine kidnap and torture the kid and ... apart from the Empress' secret troop getting blown up, for no rhyme or reason, nothing happens---except for some reason, FL suddenly gets shot out of a giant catapult, flies all night, and lands in pastoral paradise the next day. Also, Asians with freckles are lovely and rare. Scars and birthmarks and tans can be attractive. WTF, China!
