long story short the MC loses his memory after trying to kill himself because again he loves MC and doesnt want to kill him with his eyes then the ML REALLY starts going insane and when the ML and MC finally meet again MC ofc doesnt remember his past but knows that he feels smth for ML and they go back to ML castle and its here when ML rapes MC for 3 days straight and while they were apart it was the ML who was actually cursed because ML family stole the gods land and now the ballisk eyes exist to wipe out ML whole family line and despite everything and everyone trying to convince MC to kill ML he doesnt bc he loves him too much
honestly ML personality changes so much from the first book and he basically pushes everything he wants onto MC. ML knows his personality is wrong and that hes too selfish and pushy to MC but that doesnt stop him
in the end MC lives in ML palace and while the MC lost his memory there was a prophet that had made the prophecy that ML would die because a snake would bite his heart and that prophet was captured along with some other people while they tried to invade the palace because there was a second love interest that was going to get married to MC while he had no memory of who he was in the past but anyways the prophet tells ML that to get rid of MC curse they have to spend all these blood moons together (can’t remember the exact number but i feel like it was 90 or something) and every year there are 8 bllod moons but every year they spend a blood moon together it’ll keep going down so one year 8 blood moons next year 7 blood moons and so on and also ML can’t take another lover or else MC will have this same curse in every life and be just as abused as he was in this life so really they only romantic part in the end of this was ML saying he would kill his own lineage just so that MC wouldnt have to suffer as much as he did in his current life ever again in his next lives
as for the side stories i only read the first one and theres 4 i believe but again i didnt really like it. the oldest brother of MC recovers and takes over the kingdom and even he sees how much of a bad man ML is and he wants to sorta protect MC but he doesn’t remember ever having MC in his live bc he was sick but he knew that MC was locked up underground only being feed dried snake and water his whole life but he doesnt remember MC being an assassin but he ends up giving his cat to MC and the cat ends up bringing a snake to MC one day and ML goes crazy thinking someone is harassing MC but the whole time it was just a cat hunting and trying to share its kills and then MC is gifted 2 foxes but the cat hates them and ML basically locks them up in the garden or something but theres this weird plot where ML is jealous of the cat and he locks up the cat in MC residence and takes MC to his castle and they have sex but honestly everytime they have sex its so uncomfortable because it feels like ML controls everything and MC really doesnt have a lot of opinions or say anything about what he’s uncomfortable about
