In a way, it's refreshing to see a different approach in this type of writing.. but the level of angst and emotional distraught the MC gotta go through is also... NOT WORTH IT..

From what I remember she does end up leaving, in this chapter she was thinking to herself about how she finds herself not wanting to divorce ml (obviously this is moments before the incident) so once ml starts treating her like he did before she decides there’s no reason to stay anymore. Tho I don’t remember her going back to her brothers, and I’m hoping not cuz they both suck.
I get what the author is trying to imply in this story but unfortunately it didn’t translate well, mostly due to the pacing of this, so everything feels rushed. We don’t get a timeline of how long Lily was staying at the mansion, so we never really get to see Lily be more than just a naive mc or how the relationship between her and the duchess could’ve been built up naturally. We at least get an understanding of Anna on how she feels she’s not worthy of being with lily because her childhood trauma. And it’s not like this author can’t make a good gl I love “Finding Assistant Manager Kim” it’s such a good office romance story.
Whereas this deals with pacing issues, so now it just seems like Lily is all wishy washy between two women.
Roses blom in spring (april), snow comes in winter (oktober). She has been there for over 6 months. Which makes no sense. Anna must be dead on the inside. And Lily couldn't possibly care about Anna after that. But just another example of bad storytelling by the author.

The pacing feels rushed so some details felt like they could've been fleshed out more but when it’s a short story you kinda have take what you can get ig. He hardly shows up in merman form anyways too. And I don’t even wanna talk the obvious issue with the merman assaulting the human.
So yeah, came here to read a bl about mermen, and I’m now leaving with just regret (￣ε(#￣)Σ
Honestly, I don’t recommend this. Down to the forcing, and to the lack of understanding, cuz there is somewhat communication but again none of them seem to be hearing the other.
leave her alone already, you literally neglected her in her past life, (sure it could’ve been for her safety, we don’t know yet) but still, she’s happier now w/o you in it.
I live for a scorn woman who actually follows through on her revenge. And seeing that scum blonde finally get what he deserves is just really satisfying.
I really tried giving this a chance. I’ve read man/ga/wha/huas that had terrible art style but
the stories to those made up for it. But this story just seems like a middle schoolers wattpad story. Maybe because it’s short comics from patron, but the pacing feels off. As for story wise, nothing really stuck with me, in other words, pretty forgettable apart from the art.
But hey it’s mentioned that chapters 1-11 so far is old art from 2021 and the snippets of their new art style of this year looks pretty decent, hopefully the story will match it.
