I really like this manhwa! It’s lowkey cliche, but done in an overall nice way! The attraction at first sight was cute and I like how they got together smoothly without the ML being a jerk first and chasing after MC for his forgiveness and all that. While I wish the MC told the ML abt his stalker, I like how he actually had a plan to solve it, even if it was reckless. Them during chapter 65 was just adorable, main couple as lovey dovey background characters while the side couple is still figuring out their shvt is just so cute tbh.

MC is just as affectionate to the ML and has his random horny moments too LOL and we love a ML who cries on the MC’s behalf as well. Also, not the MC randomly disliking boomers LMFAO?

MC is for the aros/aces I’m afraid. His thought process of struggling to differentiate between romantic feelings and platonic affection is so relatable to many in the aroace community. Also, THE CAT?!!?! It’s so freaking CUTE I love how he just snuggles into it smts, I wanna do that too

And thank you to the ML for not turning the relationship toxic. I’ve read a couple BLs with similar plots where the ML tries to get close to the MC and have him rely on him more while using objective-sounding reasons to justify it and a lot of them have manipulation, guilt-tripping, and/or gaslighting in them to force the MC to gain feelings for them and I’m so happy this story just had a cute roommate storyline.

That “I’m gonna kiss u regardless of what u say” line is not as cool as u think it is ML

The MC is actually adorable and absolutely wasted on the ML. I could imagine him having his cute, smooth office romance like those other wholesome office mangas/manhwas with a side of being teased/bullied by his lover

I love how the grandma admitted that she wasn’t proud of what she told MC bc TY. She’s doing it bc of circumstances and not bc she’s the typical traditional older generation as seen in most other stories.

Contrary to nearly the rest of the comment section, I’m not super interested in the main couple with a kid just yet LOL with MC’s reluctance to marrying alphas and having kids for them and all the other traditional alpha-omega stuff, I feel like it’d be better to focus on their relationship and stabilizing MC’s position as boss even after he married an alpha before having a kid.

Okay, but can we talk about how much of a girl’s girl Qin Yi(/Doggy?) is while also being “one of the boys”?? When she was dragged online, her first assumption was that the other girl was also a victim while green hair girl just wanted to defend her friend, so she didn’t start a cat fight with them like that girl thought she would; instead, she wanted to seek justice for all parties by targeting the ppl who started the rumors.

She’s both besties with MC’s pretty cousin and homies with ML, she likes shopping and boxing without needing to pick a side. When she misunderstood that ML fell for a married woman, she told him she couldn’t support him if that were the case, despite being his self-proclaimed closest subordinate. If you wanted to write a balanced and likable tomboy character, she’s right there as a good example.

Idk, I kinda like Godo at first, I rly liked him when he was just calling MC and being all silly, and then it took a nosedive when he appeared in-person and ruined all the cadets’ relationships, but after the climax of their hatred and whatnot, it kinda seemed like he was testing the strength of the cadets’ bonds, which is why he criticized them for easily antagonizing and fighting one another later on.

Ofc, his hatred of serpents isn’t pleasant, but it makes sense when MC explains that his hatred of servants reached an all-time high with MC losing his wing at the same time that the war ended…it’s still unfair how he straight up mistreated the serpents, but at the same time, that was probably one of the only ways he could do it since he’s an avian (an avian general targeting avian students wouldn’t test the bonds between avian and serpent cadets). Doesn’t excuse his blatant discrimination, but it makes him a more defined character instead of just a mindless cannon fodder-type character and I like that.

It also seems like his relationship with MC is more like an older brother and he feels responsible for MC’s health and happiness, especially bc of how he nearly directly impended on it, but he knew to let him go when ML showed his affection for MC was genuine too, so I kinda like him.

My opinion of him went down a little more again when he separated our main couple for a month and a half… but he’s meant to be a controversial character ig

I’m gonna be real honest, ML was kinda annoying me throughout season 2 he’s lowkey way too pushy and controlling with MC. If you have a problem with MC’s time being taken up with love counseling all the time, that’s a private one-on-one conversation with him. Why tf is he physically dragging MC out of all the meetings and ignoring MC’s protests?? Not to mention if he just let MC complete ONE meeting, MC probs could’ve just said the second couple was perfect for each other according to his “Cupid senses” and be done, but bc he can nvr finish a session, they continue to ask him to meet up.

I also find it hard to like the second couple bc of Hayun. His character seems pretty inconsistent, he was so pushy with liking ML in the first season and disregarding ML’s feelings along with shading on the MC and saying how he was better than MC, but now he suddenly feels too inferior to get with the CEO just bc he overheard him talking abt his crush? And how did he not realize he was the CEO’s crush when CEO dude literally confessed to him right after he mentioned it

MC is still adorable tho, he’s the one character I liked the whole time //3// (the CEO dude is pretty okay). MC seems like he has trouble saying no to ppl but that might be bc he just likes helping ppl and feels happy completing his self-assigned Cupid role.
