Idk, I kinda like Godo at first, I rly liked him when he was just calling MC and being all silly, and then it took a nosedive when he appeared in-person and ruined all the cadets’ relationships, but after the climax of their hatred and whatnot, it kinda seemed like he was testing the strength of the cadets’ bonds, which is why he criticized them for easily antagonizing and fighting one another later on.
Ofc, his hatred of serpents isn’t pleasant, but it makes sense when MC explains that his hatred of servants reached an all-time high with MC losing his wing at the same time that the war ended…it’s still unfair how he straight up mistreated the serpents, but at the same time, that was probably one of the only ways he could do it since he’s an avian (an avian general targeting avian students wouldn’t test the bonds between avian and serpent cadets). Doesn’t excuse his blatant discrimination, but it makes him a more defined character instead of just a mindless cannon fodder-type character and I like that.
It also seems like his relationship with MC is more like an older brother and he feels responsible for MC’s health and happiness, especially bc of how he nearly directly impended on it, but he knew to let him go when ML showed his affection for MC was genuine too, so I kinda like him.
My opinion of him went down a little more again when he separated our main couple for a month and a half… but he’s meant to be a controversial character ig
I’m gonna be real honest, ML was kinda annoying me throughout season 2 he’s lowkey way too pushy and controlling with MC. If you have a problem with MC’s time being taken up with love counseling all the time, that’s a private one-on-one conversation with him. Why tf is he physically dragging MC out of all the meetings and ignoring MC’s protests?? Not to mention if he just let MC complete ONE meeting, MC probs could’ve just said the second couple was perfect for each other according to his “Cupid senses” and be done, but bc he can nvr finish a session, they continue to ask him to meet up.
I also find it hard to like the second couple bc of Hayun. His character seems pretty inconsistent, he was so pushy with liking ML in the first season and disregarding ML’s feelings along with shading on the MC and saying how he was better than MC, but now he suddenly feels too inferior to get with the CEO just bc he overheard him talking abt his crush? And how did he not realize he was the CEO’s crush when CEO dude literally confessed to him right after he mentioned it
MC is still adorable tho, he’s the one character I liked the whole time //3// (the CEO dude is pretty okay). MC seems like he has trouble saying no to ppl but that might be bc he just likes helping ppl and feels happy completing his self-assigned Cupid role.
I’m lowkey disappointed that Jistar isn’t the bottom I’m ngl LMAO I just love his in-game personality + gap moe + irl buff looks sm and I have a tendency to want to see my fav characters bottoming and crying out of pleasure LOL nonetheless, the manhwa’s still rly good tho! Regardless of their dynamics during papapa, their relationship is super healthy and hilarious! //w//
This was sm cuter than I thought it’d be?? We lowkey need more stories with yandere, possessive MLs, but MCs who dig it. Best of both worlds frfr.
Will do! Same here for me to u! :)
The only one I can think of rn is this manga if u haven’t read it yet: https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/welcome_to_the_yandere_cafe/
It’s about MC who’s rly into yanderes, so he goes to a yandere cafe where one (or some) of the employees are actual yanderes instead of just acting, but he’s into it. Sadly, it only has a few chapters and hasn’t been updated in a long time :’)
Like am I the only one who absolutely hated the sister? like ain’t no way she just let her kid brother be abused and shamed throughout his childhood to make sure he would never compete against her for the company, wtf bro? Like she seriously said that she could’ve helped ML but chose not to and only pretended she was going to so he would develop a weak, insecure personality that wouldn’t want the company???? It also bugged me a bit at the end when MC said he was grateful that the sister kept an eye out for ML despite what they put her through. She only helped them (and barely helped them) because she got what she wanted alr through ML’s past suffering…none of the characters were rly that likable in general though. MC and ML were okay, Minho had some slight potential at the end and that’s about it.
I actually thought MC was kinda OOC near the end when he had the foreshadowing dream of ML being stabbed. His character design is feeling responsible for preventing the accidents in his visions and he feels guilty when he’s unable to save everyone (e.g., that dude during the fire that ML attacked), but he just dismissed a dream of someone literally bleeding out in his arms?
MC and ML near the end were okay for me, I don’t really hate either and both had issues. MC isn’t responsible for ML’s emotional state, and he didn’t know about his trauma or hallucinations either. He’s entitled to his own reactions. Didn’t fully understand either of their actions tho tbh, like why MC was so shocked and appalled that ML had powers and knew abt his powers or why ML didn’t tell MC abt his powers this whole time. I feel like the story would’ve been nicer if it kept the same genre and mood as the beginning, just ML flirting with MC and flustering him with his advances while MC got through life and his job with his powers and being mega embarrassed while doing so. Light plot and heavy on romance, rather than the characterization arcs that made their relationship toxic, but the story as is isn’t too bad either.
I agree I hate his sister. I have a younger brother ( I am a girl btw) and if my parents treated him like ML parents I have have made their life miserable and taken my brother away as far as possible. Really if you are so smart and talented that you you be the new boss if the company then you should have enough sense to also able to protect your brother.

Okay, but can we talk about how much of a girl’s girl Qin Yi(/Doggy?) is while also being “one of the boys”?? When she was dragged online, her first assumption was that the other girl was also a victim while green hair girl just wanted to defend her friend, so she didn’t start a cat fight with them like that girl thought she would; instead, she wanted to seek justice for all parties by targeting the ppl who started the rumors.
She’s both besties with MC’s pretty cousin and homies with ML, she likes shopping and boxing without needing to pick a side. When she misunderstood that ML fell for a married woman, she told him she couldn’t support him if that were the case, despite being his self-proclaimed closest subordinate. If you wanted to write a balanced and likable tomboy character, she’s right there as a good example.
FRRRR I love her so much
