What was the ending there?

Basically when Diana was about to get the final blow from the nobles and get deposed as Empress, Kaelus stepped in and put a stop to it. Apparently Heli put him up to it but for SOME REASON, Kaelus who has been communicating his feelings and what goes on pretty well to Hes didn’t tell Hes he was going to do that. Didn’t tell her Heli told him to do it either. So naturally, Hes felt that all she did was a waste and tries to khs by jumping off a balcony. Kaelus stops her and still doesn’t say anything about Heli request so Hes goes despondent. Eventually Heli comes around and tells her and she considers shi and all is well. Eventually Diana does divorce Heli bevause she doesn’t want to have children (crown princess doesnt want to have kids its literally in the job description that an heir is needed eventually but whatever). Hes and Kaelus go on a trip and then side stories begin. It was an ok ending but the way Kael went about it was pretty out of character to me and many others. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

she tried to kill her self to try and go back to her world so she got onto the balcony of kaelus and her home. Because she thinks at that moment that Kaelus still has feelings and is still attached to Diana after all Hes did and so he stopped her from getting deposed. Also at that point, Hes and Kaelus were fcking and romantically involved so I assume she was also feeling heartbroken.

Which made Kaelus decision to not tell Hes anything about he and Heli little plan even more baffling for alot of readers lmao

She tries to unalive herself. Since Kaelus prevented Diana from being deposed as the Empress (most likely due to Helios' request) but didn't tell anything to FL, FL felt that all she did so far was useless. All her actions to depose Diana went to waste. Maybe she even felt that Kaelus still had feelings for Diana?

I didn't read the novel, I just explained what the comment said and added a bit of my opinion at the end.

After she tries to khs and Kaelus latches onto her, he asks her to go on a trip. She says some things that doesnt mean “sure”…yada yada more shi. And then Heli visits. He tells her that he persuaded Kaelus to not stand with the nobles who wanted to dethrone Diana. And that she misunderstood Kaelus because he doesnt still love Diana(again, why tf couldn’t Kaelus say that tf himself. I digress) Basically, Heli then asks her what does she really want? And then Hestia considers what hes saying as he speaks more. She realizes it isnt that she wants Diana to get dethroned she just wants her to change as a person (at that point, before all this happened, Kaelus already told Hess that Diana had apologized so Hestia did get her wish already which was for Diana to regret her decision. Yet Hes was still holding onto that revenge. She wanted her to lose everything ig). Anyways, Helios says some more stuff about how he will regret it for the rest of his life and he’s sure Diana will too, more shi yada yada. And that even if she is dethroned, it isnt like Diana will then change immediately. So they reach an understanding ig. He leaves after she thinks more and is like “yeah I’ll stay by Kaelus’ side”. All is well and she decides to go on the trip because in her words (this is a quote from the novel):

The most precious thing to me in this world is, of course, Kaelus. From the moment I returned, I was determined to devote my life to Kaelus again. No need for anything else, just think of Kaelus.

So they say couple confession shi “i love you” and shi. And then the next day Kaelus declares they will go to Attica(their other territory) and they go. End of main story. Honestly you should just read the one chapter this all goes down in because the chaps are in general very long and cover alot. Also cuz Heli talks a shit ton and I couldnt summarize it into a “basically statement” lmao

maybe his dream was what he really wished to have at that time, and at that time he didn’t knew there would be a second baby. The dream could just be what Seth wished his perfect family would be with Theo and not a premonition for what could possibly happen to the second baby

And I’m worried for what’s gonna happen in the future too in the raws it seems like Seth got shoot by Callion but I hope it was nothing too bad

Yh i was also thinking about it after i posted. That Agrice showed him the best future they could have based on where Theo and Seth were in life at that time(aka Theo was only pregnant with one baby then). Ima just say it here since i saw your other comment but I started crying when the chapter ended with Seth getting shot(?) i mean, they didn’t show the bullet making contact so I’m hoping he just lost control of his new power for a bit and the shot missed or something. I wouldn’t be able to handle it if my favorite character died

I'm thinking the same thing. Like what's the point of him bringing justice when everything is reversed back to the past where the criminals are still roaming free and he can't do anything about it bcz he's just a random normal person.

Yeah exactly. I mean his personality was a bit…but I mean he’ll definitely change. My headcannon is that he will become a policeman or something and look out for or try to prevent certain things. Like maybe he will be able to make a wellness check on that streamer or find the kid before he khs and become a support/give advice. Being a police might also allow him to arrest that serial killer and interrogate him by telling him details he already knows ╮(￣▽￣)╭Idk man….like you said, it felt like it was all for nothing even though it technically isn’t. Thats why i wanted atleast an extra to see him living happily because it just feels like a “it was all a dream ending”

I think there are multiple universes. So there are two alternate timelines. He was explaining it with soda when he was the streamer. He didn’t reset the timeline he was in where he became all those people. He went back to his original timeline and hopefully he’ll help out the people in that timeline now that he has not committed suicide.

Yeah since all the deaths were consecutive because he was in the same alternate timeline every time he became a new person it shows he can’t go back in time. So he would have had to go back to his original timeline or maybe even a third time line when he got a second chance to live. Also when the girl came back to talk to him in the elderly home she found out he had already died, we can hopefully assume that means that timeline keeps going he could have possibly already been reset at that point who knows.
