I genuinely don’t see how he’s done anything wrong. Not only was he clear when setting his boundaries, but he also never did anything the MC didn’t consent to. I actually didn’t LOVE him before this chapter, but this chapter gave me a better understanding of his character. He’s not a bad person. And he understands exactly what he’s doing and what he wants without outright deceiving people. He explained to MC that he wasn’t interested in dating, and MC agreed to continue despite knowing this and already having feelings. A lot of y’all are like, “oh, so NOW he wants to be jealous after rejecting the MC”, but it’s not IMPOSSIBLE for a human to change their views on something like this once they find the right person. Like, is it criminal to fall in love but be in denial about it??? And, in my opinion, Woori is just as bad as the ML. He only started noticing MC after he cut his hair and went STRAIGHT to wanting to do XXX stuff with him. He’s no saint either just because he’s willing to date and the ML isn’t. Idk, maybe I’m projecting but I see character depth with Teahan that I just don’t see with Woori.
Yeah you are right. Usually people don't fall in love just right away just because they've been involved physically. ML is confused now because he us just probably developing feelings. MC is also being so sensitive with his condition that he also follows his physical urge that he had jrked of with his friend while he wants to be with ML.
this is exactly what I've been thinking. I mean ML may be a bit of a dick about it, but like God forbid we have a character that needs to developed through the story. his character has actually been really interesting to me. it's not like every character in every story we read has to be the perfect example of morality, especially in the very start of the story
That’s the exact point I was getting at!! And, unlike so many other stories out rn, he never non-conned the MC and THAN tried to have a character redemption!! I see potential in Taehan that I just don’t see with Woori, which is why I like him as the final pick more so than the other. When Taehan starts getting sappy with the MC these comments are all going to be on his team, mark my words I’ve seen the Jinx people do it
And a LOT of reading. I’m used to manga being word heavy, but this one had so much reading and it was all worded in a confusing way. Also, idk, I didn’t feel the chemistry between the MC and ML. Like, ML pushed the MC around in high school and the MC liked him anyways??? And ML kept saying his proposals were bad but didn’t actually provide any constructive feedback? Just a confusing story. Beautiful art, though.
I don’t LOVE him either. I hate second male leads because they’ll be better people character wise than the main ML but still have no hope of ending up with the MC. Like, author easily could have made this a story about Taehan learning to love someone and be exclusive to that person and have Woori be a supportive friend. Absolutely no need to make Woori second male lead just to have him dumped later. This was why I stopped watching k-dramas
Now, I never seen the AU, but I thought this one was pretty good. Like ABO doesn’t exist in our world, but I could imagine that in the fictional world of ABO something like this COULD happen. But, I feel like Fated Pairs wouldn’t be attracted until they both presented. It’d make sense biologically. But, I suppose if it happened no matter what, this story did a good job highlighting how an omega would actually suffer such a situation. Especially since omegas get the shit end of everything. I still like this story. Our lead is genuinely a good person who clearly feels remorse about being unable to control his biological nature. Now, is the situation kinda fucked? Yeah. Author-san, why???? YEAH.

I can already tell we’re skipping an actual redemption arc and going straight for the “he’s misunderstood because of his tragic backstory” troupe
Ima kms if this happens
I’ll join because after all this for Dan to forgive him sans an apology just because of his backstory is gonna make me wanna cry
Like can authors stop this type of development
Nope. Because it’s like a “get outta jail free!” Card. They don’t have to write an impactful apology if they try to justify the character’s behavior through having a “tough childhood”.
