Ok so she prob was a killer from that organization. the target was prob huang fu jue and she was probably supposed to seduce him and then kill him. but she actually fell for him. i bet theyre trying to kill her for betraying them, and kill her son because hes a weakness to her and will prevent her from being strong.

She's basically forcing her revenge on him. Like the guy's mother just died, he's just a blank slate but she's filling him with hatred for others. He was so vulnerable at that time and she took full advantage of that. Isn't that kind of like what the king did to her. He made her live for so long and develop a loathing for everything around her along with loneliness.
It kind of reminds me of grooming
they say if you want revenge, you have to be exactly as your enemy, or be above those monsters (meaning be worse than them) only then you can have your revenge. and 99% of these revenge ended up scarring them even more. h
