one of the great things about this story is that they managed to make a clueless dumb girl mc but not make her annoying. they made her cluelessness so endearing and i completely understand why all of the other characters love her

Its worth it cause if the empress dies the seat is empty then only she has a chance to dominate the emperors affection which is very tactically twisted to only favour her and elevate her status even more. Little acting is fine if you can have all the power. And be a lady of standing. The empress is always a threat to a white lotus. Even if she is very kind.

Her feelings were genuine. She did originally liked the empress. Lyn just didn't realize she had romantic feelings for the emperor until the she sees the emperor developing feelings for the empress.

the way she does what she wants is nice. other stories have their mcs do this but they go way overboard and just make me uncomfortable or it’s just plain unfunny and more annoying. i like this :)
i don’t blame his friend for being bitter. when i don’t talk to someone for a long time i also think they hate me and don’t want to talk to me either. also didn’t he cut them off bc of his eating disorder? it’s all miscommunication, he’s just hurt.
