Lemme just preach about the symbolism that the author used by drawing the MC’s hands. The way the author depicts MC’s hands, it’s masculine - the author used the art style as a reminder - it emphasises that the MC is a man, and the realities of this identity. It draws our focus on the constant guilt that eats at the MC as he lives a lie in order to make money for his family. The hands are scarred - representing the youth he gave up working to make ends work, for his family. Yet the one who also gently kisses, and holds his hand is also the ML. Help.
Also. The way ML constantly makes that resigned smile makes me think… he’s hiding some terminal illness or some serious secret. Come on. I seriously have no tears left please have mercy let my boys be happy together.

Your point about the hands is soooo salient. I noticed that vaguely too, but didn't really zero in. My brain just noted that MC's hands were drawn with a lot of character if that makes sense!

That was a horrible way to respond to Taiga’s confession. From how I see it, Kei is scared and totally traumatised by his past experiences (fair) which resulted in a defensive response that basically blamed taiga for the traits he picked up from his profession. Not blaming Kei’s trauma, just questioning the way he delivered that sentence across to Taiga. It just feels like Kei was only thinking about himself in the relationship they’ve built. Of course, I only get to say this because I’m a reader who gets to see the dilemmas taiga is going through. BUT SO FRUSTRATING BRUH PLEASE TAIGA NEEDS A HUG RN
coming from the chapter in the novel where hubbard commissions and collects the mannequin of the vice captain of his team, indescribable feelings well up... it's heartbreaking. The manhua adapted this scene perfectly, I felt the pain when hubbard stated that there were things left unspoken, with the connotation that those things will forever stay unspoken now, whispers in dreams of what could have been, as the only recipient of those words has left without a trace. A life left stagnant, and a desperation to see his partner's face once more. When he saw the image of his partner yet again... the expression he had on his face. man.
Nah. Let me get this straight- JJ’s completely right about Leo not getting his shit right with how he’s dealing with the relationship (fuck buddies???? Bitch what), and I’m not defending Leo cause this man really needs to set his own priories right. However, JJ’s shifted 100% of the blame on Leo when its mutual effort as to why this relationship broke down.
Leo didn’t even know JJ’s concerns up until break up, red flags blaring on my system in terms of communication. it seems to me:
Leo either doesn’t care enough (if so they need to break up or he needs to improve but him not caring doesn’t seem to b the case) OR
it’s his inherent personality (which doesn’t justify using JJ as a tool). OR
JJ has never made any comment regarding his dissatisfaction before dropping da bomb. (Probs all these factors but this one seems to be the largest factor)
JJ isn’t doing his part as a partner by communicating - that’s why the relationship is toxic. Not even giving Leo an inkling of an hint about switching jobs- which is such an important aspect of their relationship and life? LIKE????? Really shows us what their relationship dynamic was leading up to the break up.
Sorry long rant. I saw a few comments where one character is bashed to defend the other, but seems to me that both of them need to change for this relationship to fucking work.
